The game LOOKS like the UFC, FEELS like the UFC, PLAYS like the UFC.

UFC doesn't KO the rest of the Dreamcast's brawling lineup as the best title on the system, but its solid fighting-game engine and distinct mixture of realistic fighting styles and brutal moves make it one fun, tough customer.

Keeping in prospective that this was the first UFC game to be developed it's amazing how much it got right on it's first go. I hate to compere versions but while the PS1 game is impressive, the DC version of this game takes everything up a notch. Even though the gameplay feels the same, with the addition of better graphics and smoother animations, it takes a better than average experience into an excellent game. The roster is deep for the time, and the presentation is excellent, far better than any wrestling or boxing game at the time when it comes to looking like the product that you order on PPV. Compared to this generations UFC titles, the gameplay isn't as impressive as the visuals. But whilst you won't be having any technical bouts that go on for 5 rounds, you will have some intense brawls that could last from 5 seconds to 5 minutes, much like the original UFC events themselves, things get physical and brutal real quick. The Dreamcast was the king of arcade style intense quick fixes, and while UFC wasn't a DC exclusive it works best on the little white console.

You've never played a fighting game or wrestling title like this. UFC is the best man-to-man combat title ever, on any system.

Believe it. This game is on the level of the almighty "Soul Cal." It's better than "DOA2," It's better than "Power Stone 2"... it's THAT good!

The backgrounds are some of the best public arenas presented so far in a game.

It soon becomes a tedious exercise in reversals and grappling, but until you master your technique to that point, it's a great game.

You have to truly learn this game to appreciate it, and if you can get past the learning curve, you'll find a very deep game.

With UFC, I experienced a sub-par game with great graphics and a main menu that you get to see a whole lot of.
