Playing Truck-kun is Supporting me from Another World?! is just pure joy. It is a very addictive gameplay loop, and it is fun to just smash into things with a truck.

Truck-kun is Supporting Me From Another World?! does not keep its cards hidden; this is exactly the game it presents itself as, and nothing more, and nothing less. It has some issues with how the story is designed to move along its track, but when you do drift over that speed bump and ramp up to the next part, the joy of cruising around the streets (and through dozens of people) in the titular Truck-kun is a blast. It’s not quite a Cruisin’ Blast (what is?), but as far as arcade car shenanigans go, you can do a lot worse than Strange Scaffold’s absurd, silly take on the genre. I laughed, I smiled, I rammed police, killed some slimes, and did it all again for a few hours until it was time to move on. I call that a good time.

Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World?! is a short and sometimes repetitive game, but one that has heart and is enjoyable in short bursts, making it worthwhile to keep on your radar.

Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World?! is a game that manages to make fun, silly chaos from the comedic concept of having a truck transport people to another world by hitting them. Performing weirdly specific moves and fulfilling tasks and in-game achievements can be fulfilling for a time, but it doesn’t take long for repetition to sink in. As a result, it’s a unique driving game that has a lot of qualities to play in short bursts or when the mood strikes, but it’s important to keep in mind that it may get stale due to its repetitive structure that doesn’t evolve much from start to finish.

Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World fully commits to the bit and uses every isekai trope to provide motivation to run over everything. It’s such a silly game. Driving around town causing senseless destruction in a colorful cartoon world can be a lot of fun! I just wish sometimes there’d be more people I could turn into monsters.

Truck-kun Is Supporting Me From Another World?! is a ridiculous subversion of classic anime tropes. It's a blast to play and even though it's simple, it doesn't overstay it's welcome.

Truck-kun is Supporting Me from Another World?!* is a simple game that delivers on its arcade premise while offering a rather original backdrop. Its attractive visuals and charming art style invite players to return for bite-sized sessions of chaos, but the experience can become quite repetitive due to there being only one city to explore and a lack of additional random elements to make each run feel more distinct.
