The atmosphere is spot on, and even the less interesting quests offer up some beautiful scenery. And let's be honest, that's why you've come anyway, isn't it?
A deeply challenging adventure in the Western Skyrim, Greymoor indicates a true maturing of ZeniMax philosophy for The Elder Scrolls Online.
This expansion is about the same level of enhancements that we saw with Summerset and Elsweyr, and for people hungry for Skyrim nostalgia there’s some here, but the experience is clearly in the vein of the MMO and not the single player adventure. Greymoor is a good starting point for newcomers and a welcome expansion to veteran players, while the added Stadia compatibility also offers a nice portability option.

Its just by far the best mmorpg around. i was sceptical at first, cause i dont particulary like TES. Its not a asia - grinder and leveling is always fun. the combat is really nice. its rather simple compared to other games, but its fun and good for new players. the only issue i have, is the questmarkers. ist sometime hard to follow and to now where you gotta go. qualitywise its on the same level as WoW

Everything in the Greymoor chapter is wonderful through and through. The new story is engaging and dark, and the new Antiquities system gives a nice break from running around saving Tamriel. I am always amazed by the work put into each new expansion to The Elder Scrolls Online and every time it exceeds expectations. I look forward to the rest of the DLCs coming out this year as a part of the Dark Heart of Skyrim event. And, if last year is anything to go off of, I am excited to see if Eastern Skyrim will be open to explore by the end of the year. Only time will tell, and I cannot wait!

The Elder Scrolls Online is still growing with Greymoor, a new chapter that feels special. We return to Skyrim in a great war against the vampires, and it's fun and very nostalgic.

Greymoor is an expansion in line with the others that preceded it. As usual, it enjoys a well-kept and pleasant setting to explore, in addition it brings to mind the memories of Skyrim and enriches them with the underground caves of Blackreach, expanded and revisited compared to The Elder Scrolls V.

IGN
The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor offers a nostalgic return to the northwestern corner of Skyrim, but its formulaic story isn't as compelling.

Capítulo muito bom, a ambientação é fenomenal mas a história não acaba no fim. O desfecho final vem na dlc Markarth e é muito bom.

I'm not gonna comment on the rocky launch of Greymoor as it's not all that surprising to me. Servers have been bad for as long as I can remember despite the devs constantly saying they're gonna fix it. That being said, I got to play it at least. The intro was fun enough, if not a meme in itself. You can tell they were at least self aware and I found that charming. However, I'm not all that impressed with the expansion itself. Although that opinion is subject to change it really just seems like they're riding on the coattails of Skyrim for attention with this expansion. It's not bad. But it's simply not impressive enough to warrant anything higher than I gave it.

DLC writing was mediocre, major performance loss in Cyrodiil , new performance issues including large framerate drops for no reason, gpu simply goes into rest mode for no reason during these times, story breaking bugs where the developers say " oh thatll be fixed in a month " Positives - the framerate stuttering is gone. Thats it.

"I don't understand the bad reviews" "Oh its just people bitter about the launch" No, it's the 250+ lat and combat lag for the last few months for tens of thousands of people. So, as someone who has played MMO's for almost 20 years, I'm aware of launch issues...However, I started playing this game about two months ago, and the server issues are -massive-. Latency spikes all throughout the days at random intervals (for most players - chat is full of people asking "hey is everyone lagging too?") Glitches that require you to plead with chat to figure out how to fix (really? dodge-rolling fixes several glitches that have apparently been in the game for -years- and no official patches? The story and gameplay of this game has the potential to be phenomenal, but the server issues are reminiscent of an alpha-stage small dev company steam game.
