The Bazaar gracefully blends auto-battling, card game, and roguelite elements with a competitive twist, as the bosses you face are actually other players. The combination of hundreds of cards, distinct hero profiles, and just the right dose of randomness you can manipulate results in an incredibly fun, well-balanced experience - one where you could easily sink hundreds of hours, with hardly any two matches ever feeling the same.

The Bazaar is an interesting and very addictive blend of auto-battler and deck-building mechanics, wrapped in a unique PvE/PvP hybrid format. With hundreds of unique cards and a satisfying progression system, each match feels like a fresh challenge. After a rocky early access phase, the game has turned into a true gem and one of the most compelling strategy experiences of the year.

The Bazaar is an addictive and engaging experience with clever mechanics satisfying progression and strong replayability that keeps you coming back for more even if it is not quite perfect earning a solid 8 out of 10 (This game keeps getting better).

The game deserves an 7-8 due to quality of content. But for me personally, it is a 1. The game just feels like a gross waste of time. There is literally no progression in the game other than unlocking skins. As it is, you are only playing for a sense of adrenaline, hoping that you roll some good items. It is very literally gambling, except that you lose time instead of money. Yuck. To me, the gameplay loop is too text-heavy. You will spend 15 seconds in a fight where only-god-knows-what is happening, and then spend 3-5 minutes reading through a bunch of menus. That may be fun for some, but not for me. One glaring flaw of the game is the UI. It is quite bad. Long press should NEVER be a mechanic in a PC game. We have double click and right click for that.. The game menu is ugly, as if an afterthought. Almost all actions feel sluggish. It is shocking that this is possible in a game where you literally don't do anything but read stats and select items from a menu. Edit: who am I kidding, all games are a waste of time. I got used to the UI and the slow, thoughtful gameplay. I cannot stop playing and I love it!
The lack of progression is actually really cool, because it means you do not need to grind, which is a huge plus. I can see myself sinking too much time into this game, but at least it won't be because I need to grind it out.

Probably the most fun game I've ever played,I couldn't recommend it more. The game is also not pay to win whatsoever, those reviews came during an old monetization system that allowed paying players to access new content a few weeks early, but it no longer exists.

The Bazaar is addictive, but horribly held back by...
Pay-to-win: new cards only accessible to subscribers that do not get nerfed until they are available to everyone
Huge bugs: -memory leaks that slow the game to a crawl that have been in-game since the start.
Poor optimization: It is crazy that The Bazaar has my cpu fan running at full speed for a 2d turn-based game. (pc has no issues with Baldur's Gate 3 on high settings, for reference).
QoL: Lack of in-game reference - no item list/enemy list, event possibilities. You have to learn it by playing it and can't strategize without using multiple online sources. No multiplayer/private rooms either.
In short, the Bazaar has many of the worst elements of multiplayer games and autobattlers past.

The core game has some potential but it is so mismanaged that all of it goes to waste. In the search for profits the developers have tried over half a dozen different payment models, each time spurning the existing player base and adding more negatives to the overall game. The spitefulness of certain developers have lead to the game simply not gaining positive word of mouth, which is terrible when they do not advertise it. The gameplay only works when it stays fresh, but due to staff layoffs the patches have gone from a few substantial ones a week to getting one a month with less content then we used to get weekly. In the quest for profit the current game is pay to win, the reward structure is meaningless, and meanwhile the game still is filled with bugs, missing features, and other things that are simply left alone because they will not immediately cause people to spend money. I doubt this game survives until 2027 and as it is online only, that means it might never be playable again soon enough.

Very bad and addictive game, i absolutly not recommend it. Cons: Matchmaking -> as a bronze player you can be matchmaked vs the best rank in the game. In other games you are matchmaked within your rank, here the company wants that good player, which means addicted meta players are rewarded. Meta: If you try to build your own builds most of the time you have zero chance on even a silver victory. Every patch is dominated by some builds and all players build that. Gems / in Game currency: In other games with arena modes like for example hearthstone you get enough in game money with around half of the max wins to buy a new round. In this game if you havent a full vicotry or you have buyed a pass ( with real money) you wont be able to play again. Balancing: New sets in season 1 and 2 dominat the meta. New cards are like zero balanced and every time to strong. In other games there are hotfixes, in this game you get a hotfix after 1 week or more.
