The 7th Guest VR is a homage to a classic game from 1993. Developer Vertigo Games delivers a unique and remade vision of the original title and still includes the ambiance and puzzles that made the first game so memorable. The additional retelling of the narrative and how that narrative is presented in VR format makes this one of the best virtual reality experiences to date.

If you have fond memories of the original game, this version will bring a smile to your face. If you have never played the 7th Guest before, you are in for a treat, especially if you love mystery/puzzle games with a horrific slant.

It has everything what I expect from an entertaining VR game. The puzzles are a bit too simple for this audience but still enjoyable. Visuals are pretty well done. I can’t understand the 18+ rating the game claims, a 12 years rating should be fine for this content.

Une bien belle aventure, on découvre l'histoire du manoir au travers différentes scenes et enigmes. Le jeu n'est pas très long, peut-être un manque de rejouabilité, malgré la possibilité d'être complétionniste en recherchant toutes les pièces et photos.

The 7th Guest VR is not only an excellent Halloween game, it's one of the best PSVR2 games released so far. I highly recommend it.

The 7th Guest VR pays a fair and fitting tribute to a classic from a bygone era in the history of video games. The most delightful aspect of the package is the story, which has remained largely intact, with standout performances from its charismatic cast and well-chosen costumes. While it may not be a groundbreaking title in the realm of virtual reality design, it is an intellectual journey that challenges with satisfying logic puzzles.

If you’re a fan of the original or simply looking for your next VR fix, 7th Guest VR is a creepy and challenging puzzler that doesn’t outstay its welcome.

Hey Poor Player
It’s clear The 7th Guest VR is a labor of love made by true fans of the original game. Its puzzles are brilliant, its production values are top-notch, and it perfectly strikes that balance between creepiness and campiness that made the 1993 original such a hit. It’s just a shame that while exploring these familiar locales in VR is a nostalgic treat, the finicky controls and some questionable design choices occasionally rear their heads like fiendish phantoms to hurt the experience. However, if you can overlook these shortcomings or are a die-hard fan of the series, you’ll find The 7th Guest VR to be one hauntingly good time.

The 7th Guest VR's intriguing story and great variety of enjoyable conundrums make it a competent VR reimagining of a classic 90s gothic puzzler. With visual, audio and puzzle bugs aplenty, it's a shame Stauf's mansion isn't just riddled with cockroaches.

Blown away by the attention to detail updating this classic. The visuals are amazing, from the ghosts to the shadows moving when shining the lantern. Spooky but not scary. Updated puzzles, and new puzzles. My favourite PSVR2 game to date. My only gripes so far is that sometimes there's an audio issue where it's hard to hear what's being said when you find the music boxes. I'm not sure if it's intentially muffled or not. Also some puzzles can be finicky when you have to press buttons with your skeleton hand and it can feel rather clumsy.
