Teardown is easily one of the most creative and fun games I have played in very a long time. It’s a prime example of showcasing what is truly possible through the video game medium, and while the campaigns narrative is easily forgettable, the uniqueness of its gameplay more than make up for it. If you are looking for a game that is just downright entertaining, you could do a lot worse than Teardown.
A groundbreaking voxel-based engine makes demolition more fun than one could imagine. But it’s the amazing amount of mods (maps, tools of destructions, gameplay changes) that turns Teardown into an absolute blast for everyone who enjoys breaking stuff.

To be honest, this game is just fun. I enjoyed playing it in campain and the sandbox later on. Of course this game is not really playable on decent computers but for me who plays on 16 gb RAM and on AMD RX 9060 XT (with Intel Core I5-8400) its very much playable on highest graphics. I definitely recommend this game for sandbox and logic game enjoyers.

Probably the best destruction system among all other games. It has good campaign, pretty interesting graphics, and, the best one, sandbox. Here you can do absolutely anything you want, from building something using planks to anihillating the entire map. If you use mods, it gets even more interesting. This game is something like minecraft: you can play it without mods, but you will get bored soon.

Teardown is a challenging game that requires a mindset to be able to plan and then carry out the strategy needed to solve puzzles...or you can just use the scorched earth tactic and destroy everything in your path. Personally, I found this method to be very satisfying and a whole lot of fun. Plus the TV news afterwards can be fun to watch.

Calling it a game may be a bit of a stretch on account of its loose structure, but you can’t argue with the fun.

Teardown has some genuine moments of chaotic fun that are sometimes interrupted by long periods of tedium and some minor performance issues.

Teardown's greatest strength then lies in its underlying premise. The ability to jump into highly reactive maps with an assortment of fun tools to tear them apart remains as entertaining now as it was when I first started playing, and the chaotic nature of its physics are a consistent source of joy. It's a pity that the campaign fails to leverage this well in its first half, exacerbated by a slow trickle of new objectives and tools to use. These help expose the smart design that Teardown has from the start, which only really becomes evident much later in its campaign. If you can get past that, or if you dive into the bursting modding scene, there's a lot of cathartic mayhem in Teardown that will likely keep you coming back for more.

Teardown tears down the fabric of what a demolition physics game can be, yet replaces that with too many restrictions. All your fun will come from the creativity of your imagination, but that satisfaction falls apart when you’re limited by the tools the game has to offer. It’s such a shame when this game can offer so much more.

This game is fun, the campaign is fun. But the sandbox is the most fun, but the game suddenly gets boring and then it takes 3 months before you realize "Oh yeah, i have this game" and then you play it again. And then that repeats itself for a bit before you are done finally deciding that this game is just too boring.

It is fun and creative, but it bored me after a while. I wish I could give it a 7.5 as rating.

How can you make a a not invertible game in 2023? What were they thinking. I can't and many people I know just can not play this way. It's so non inclusive.
