Sunday Gold
It would be nice to focus solely on how the bleak setting is intriguing, the stealth missions often feel cool, and the characters are at least entertaining, if not quite appealing—but it’s tough to do that when Sunday Gold is simply overrun with punishing turn-based combat and related RPG-style skill mechanics, and the adventure side of this genre hybrid is consistently minimized.
Sunday Gold is a bold, flashy experiment, merging a point-and-click adventure game with heavy tactical RPG elements. Kinetic, beautiful, and bursting with character, it serves up a brand new way to look at the adventure game genre.
The strange mixing of elements from different genres works amazingly giving a sweet rhythm to the game. Their implementation does not deviate from a more casual approach and the truth is that it leaves us a little unsatisfied for an implementation with more depth, for the sole reason that it works so well.

A good indie game that I completed in 2 evenings. The tasks were not difficult but sometimes there were problems with the execution. I figured out the rpg system quickly and there were no problems with the game, but sometimes there was not enough damage. The interface is not always convenient. The only bug I encountered was the music stopping, you have to restart the game. It is clear that this is an indie game, but I definitely did not regret spending 2 evenings on it.

This game is awesome but there is a game breaking thing which is why I'm not giving it a higher rating... The hacking system is broken. There is no way to figure it out on hard levels. Otherwise this game is a 9

The combat is pretty good and that is the only good thing about this game. The art style is atrocious and butt-ugly (think Return to Monkey Island-ugly). I'm not a fan of puzzle solving and that is the main task here, it is literally "Monkey Island with turn based combat". Then there are frustrating mini games (lock picking) that add even more negatives to this game. Sorry, just not my cup of tea (I don't like tea!).

Sunday Gold is a gem mined from the rough and the dirt. The writing is on point and witty, the gameplay streamlined yet satisfying and the art style is catchy and engrossing. There are some rough edges to this golden nugget, but it’s enough to form an ingot which the game’s playable gang would promptly steal. Peaky Blinders meets comic book noir, better grab your whiskey and peaked cap.

Meristation
A graphic adventure with good ideas and novelties but too slow and complicated in some puzzles.

Sunday Gold is a game with a lot to say, says it eloquently, and has an aesthetic and artistic direction that I’ve fallen in love with. However, it must be said that the execution leaves something to be desired - the game excels in set pieces, confrontations, and dialogues, but getting from one highlight to another is a bit of a slog. I’d play another game following Frank, Sally, and Gavin in a heartbeat, but I’d hope it flows much better than Sunday Gold.

Hooked Gamers
Sunday Gold is by no means a bad game, but its tonal and game mechanical confusion, created as a result of the developers' honuorable attempt at originality, makes it hard to whole-heartedly recommend for anyone looking for a casual pick-up-and-play tactical heist game.

Checkpoint Gaming
A silky, suave graphic novel art-style and engaging Cyberpunk world can’t save Sunday Gold. With every strength on offer comes some weird design choices or bugs that will ruin your fun at every turn. This game is an experimental risk, blending both the point-and-click genre with turn-based combat, peppering in RPG progression. That mixture shows promise at the start but ultimately ends up being an average net loss. A gamble that’s not worth taking. Don’t place your bets on this one. Go all in elsewhere.
