The graphics of this game are pretty phenomenal considering the game is being displayed by the Wii.

If you want a very good Pokémon clone, Spectrobes: Origins is the right choice for you. The best, it’s almost better, but less popular then the big Nintendo franchise.

Suffice it to say, you'll have fun if you give this game a fair chance.

Spectrobes is a bit of an odd case in the fact that I love most of what the game is doing, but just can’t personally stand the style or characters.

Spectrobes Origins is home version perfectly adapted from what we've seen in Nintendo DS. It makes good use of the Wii hardware and has a well-integrated story, which is bolstered by a great localization to Spanish.

A surprisingly delightful action-RPG. It is, by no means, the most original or most exotic game on the Nintendo Wii, but for a console that is looking for its next big title to lure its gamers back, Spectrobes: Origins is a great pick-up for any gamer.

The game has all the right parts for a great action RPG title. A large amount of detail went into the collecting all of the Spectrobes and it lends greatly to the story and gameplay.

A very impressive game. Though it is not punishing in difficulty or complex in story, the gameplay is fun, and collecting all of the game's Spectrobes makes for some decent replay value. This game is an easy recommendation for new RPG gamers, or RPG fans who don't take themselves too seriously.

In conclusion, Spectrobes: Origins is a good attempt at moving the franchise to the console world and works on most levels. The unfortunate aspect of the game is that the RPG aspect seems too contrived and does not add to the genre anything new.

Consider Spectrobes a fun opportunity to bond with your kids by saving the galaxy from the latest alien menace, and enjoy these times while you still can. In just a couple years, they'll probably be asking you to buy them the equivalent of Modern Warfare 2.
