The Levels is very vibrant and exciting to play while the soundtrack from this game is peak!!! Sega please port this game on consoles!!! ️

I think this is a great game but unfortunately it's exclusive to apple devices with a subscription service.

Even though it is an Apple Arcade exclusive, I still love Dream Team and l think its one of the best Sonic mobile games out there

For a mobile sonic game it’s one of the best but as a standalone sonic title it’s mid The controllers are not so good, graphics are incredible soundtrack not so good like the other games and also the inclusive for the arcade

It says I gave it a nine but I really think it’s a 9.5 because they capitalized on so much stuff here, the level design definitely takes the cake here it’s is so good with branching paths which makes everything less linear and great, there were some things that held this back which would be no spin dash, they could have just added one more button because there were so many parts where I wish I had a spin dash. Maybe a chao garden but that would have been my least of my concerns. In conclusion it doesn't take the story as a joke and they handle the characters great and there’s lots of replay ability so therefore it is a great game.

I’m so impressed with this game.I still can’t believe it’s a mobile game, the quality is that of a console game. Speaking of please port to console lol.

I love how the levels have alternate pathways. You can tell the level designers know what they’re doing!

I can’t recommend this game enough! I gave it a try and it blew me away. I love the overall feel of the game. It feels like Sonic transported to a literal dream. They nailed the vibe and feel of the game 10/10

Sonic Dream is easily a 10/10 for me. It has nice original levels, beautiful design, multiple playable characters and the physics are on point. FAVE game atm

Sega is finally putting other playable characters into other games. This formula is perfect because the characters have the same base movements with unique abilities added to each. This formula worked with Sonic 3 and Knuckles and it works here as well. Sega please keep using more characters in your Sonic games!

The Sweet Dreams update is so much fun! Love the momentum and design of the levels. Are we getting a Shadow update for year of Shadow though??

Great game, some bugs but overall it good because it adds back a lot of momentum which many Sonic fans like me want back in the games!

I just tried the game out after the newest update. The level design is so good! I also love how they have checkpoints too. This allows the harder levels to not be too punishing while still maintaining that challenge. Excellent game!!

Seeing forgotten characters playable again felt like a dream come true. I hope they continue to give Sonic’s friends the opportunity to shine. 10/10 game!

Sonic Dream Team is the game I have been longing for such a long time. I play it at least 3 times a week. Bring on the updates!

Sonic Dream Team feels like a game that had so much love poured into it. I’m so happy that we finally have other playable characters. It used to sadden me that Knuckles was only used for treasure hunting. Now Knuckles along with the rest of Sonic’s friends can join in on the adventure :)

After all these years we FINALLY get more playable characters. I adore this game!!

Another year another sonic game i played this before my iPad broke and I loved it was amazing if SEGA keeps this up they might be able to surpass Mario

Sonic Dream Team is a surprisingly full featured 3D Sonic game on par with other modern Sonic games. What’s really surprising is that it was made for mobile but it feels like it could have been released on a home console. Would be great to see more games like this.

Pros : Nice 3D Visuals. Mechanics are fun. Cons :Relatively short story with few stages.

It literally feels like a mini console game for the mobile devices. Blew me away how much I enjoyed this game. I truly hope Sega adds more content throughout the year. Excellent game overall!

This game being an Apple Arcade exclusive might be a turn off for some people, but I wouldn't pass this up if you have an Apple device like an Apple TV 4K. Sonic Dream Team is a great game in its own right and it's miles better than Sonic Frontiers and Sonic Superstars by a long shot.

Despite its limitations, Sonic Dream Team stands out as a beacon of creativity and enjoyment in the realm of 3D platformers. The game's compact yet delightful design, combined with its imaginative missions, makes it a worthwhile addition to Sonic's legacy.

What an excellent game! Sonic Dream Team is such a refreshing experience and has a very solid understanding of what makes traditional 3D Sonic platforming so fun and engaging. All of the characters are really fun to play, the level design is intuitive and intelligent, and the gameplay has a great sense of flow to it that makes you want to come back and replay these levels over and over again. The short length of these levels also helps lend to that replayability, and with the variety of mission objectives in each stage, it's impossible to get bored while playing this game. The art direction in Sonic Dream Team is also very whimsical in a way that Sonic hasn't been in a very long time, and it takes full advantage of that dream-like aesthetic. While this may not be better than a big console release like Sonic Frontiers, Sonic Dream Team is a great case for proving that Sonic doesn't have to be completely re-invented for it to be fun. It's also due to this return to basics formula that has garnered an overwhelming amount of praise for this game, and rightfully so, as I believe Sonic Dream Team is a fantastic addition to the Blue Blur's category of entries and can easily stand toe-to-toe with it's console brethren. I highly recommend this game to everyone, whether you're a Sonic fan or not, because Sonic Dream Team will do nothing but put a big smile on your face the whole way through.

I just finished the story, and I have to say, it’s a surprisingly captivating game. Going in, I thought that it would lack in a number of things, but it ended up not really lacking in anything. There are a few hindrances, of course, every game comes with it’s flaws (the most prominent being, in my opinion, the one-week duration of Tails’s Missions, which is a bit too long for such little XP, and the duration of the game, since I would’ve liked a little more to it, but I can understand why there isn’t), but for the most part, it’s an amazing game and an excellent experience. We get introduced to a new character and concept, both of which are fleshed out and handled in such a way that you get hooked on them immediately— and the story, while simple and predictable, is still played out rather well. The characters are especially well-treated, as they get a chance to be expressive in their animations and personalities, and the writing got a few laughs out of me too (and I don’t laugh that easily). And while the quips may sometimes be cheesy, I didn’t expect anything otherwise from a sonic game. The gameplay is fun and exciting, and even the levels that frustrate me the most are still fun to try again at. I find it fun trying to figure out what characters should be used to get to certain blue rings hidden away, or the red star rings that are just slightly out of reach. The ring aspect of the game is also really fun, since I’ve always loved collecting things in games, and the game makes it fun while still challenging. I do find some of the hidden locations of the blue rings impossibly tricky to find, but I also understand I’m just not the best at games and that might just be me. The bosses are also really fun to play in my opinion, and I love the originality of their designs and the ways you implement what you learned so far into defeating them. And the stages are just fantastic, they’re always so fun to play and the they’re all so beautifully made and designed. The art style too, it uses 3D models in a 2D environment, which has a tendency to be more a failure than a success, but this game pulled the technique off (almost) seamlessly (sometimes I do see some issues with the animation, but it’s an Apple Arcade game, and for 90% of the time it’s fantastic). This game has flaws, but in comparison to the pros, they’re few and far between. The game is a new and exciting take on what’s been beloved of the sonic franchise for so long, and I think it might just be the start of a new era of sonic games; but that’s for the future to tell, we’ll just have to wait and see. (But play the game if you can, it’s great.)

For clarification, I am reviewing this game for what it is, being a mobile game, and not as a AAA game. I think this game is perfect. Although it doesn't have crazy highs, it doesn't have any flaws. The level design is perfect with the branching pathways. The different missions for each stage, and sections of stages that require different characters to access encourage replay ability. While the story is very straight forward and predictable, it isn't bad by any means and has pretty good writing. This game is also shockingly polished with smooth controls and animations. And yes, there is momentum, and while it isn't SA1 levels of momentum gameplay, it really isn't meant to be. It's more meant to be so the level flow remains constant. In conclusion, if this game was meant to be a AAA game sold on next gen consols, I'm would probably rank this a 7/10 due to the fact that it does nothing special but as. A mobile game, it does its job flawlessly. I'd even say the devs outdid themselves because it's just a mobile game and did not need to be comparable at all to AAA 3d platformers the way it is.
