Never played any of these job simulator games before but this one was pretty good in my opinion. The biggest knock on this game is how some symptoms dont always look right or sometimes how a character looks can squee how how they do look. Making correctly diagnosing them a bit annoying. Besides that theres not a lot of variation in the npc models and the tact on base managing stuff felt useless. I only ever checked in to replace stuff when needed and it didnt add anything to the game. Fighting of zombies with the drone was fun enough but happens rarely, mostly just a footnote in the game. Most of the base upgrades felt useless as well besides adding more tents to house more survivors. None of the other upgrades actually did anything. Overall a good enough game that i enjoyed. Not really my thing but it does enough to warrant a playthrough. I just think a lot of management esc work was added to "flush out" the idea of running a checkpoint only for most of it to amount to nothing but a checklist of tasks to do but i guess thats sorta the point.

Bad, bland graphics, no style, bad worldbuilding, bad story, gameplay, somewhat addictive, is plagued by multiple problems: 1) Controls are linked to tools and all the tools are on a single circle, that makes switching between them a pain. 2) Most of the tools mechanics are uninteresting and not complex enough. Most of the base upgrades are increases of capacity for camp/canteen/quarantine, they don't change the way your base operates in a memorable way.
3) Checkpoint personnel, although they stay with you the whole time, have no personalities. The longest story you will see from survivors are about 3 days long and super-basic and the game almost never treats its stories seriously, it is mostly humor content. You won't know a single survivor/checkpoint personnel by name by the end of the game.
4) Graphics-wise game looks fairly bad, but passable, but what ruins it for me is the lack of style, everything is just portrayed in the most default New York apocalypse style possible (Stock Unity models, maybe?). Characters are uninteresting and there are only a few faces for the models (Aside from streamer models (Yeah, they put streamers as survivors by the handful, you'll recognize them even if you've never seen them)) Game tries to be serious with its visual presentation and fails, making the game bland instead, and unserious story-wise, killing the story completely. Together it forms a bland unrealistic 3d checkpoint simulator. Oh, there is also a stupid tower defense mini game where you are the single flying tower (drone) with a minigun, firing at zombies that decided to attack your base that day, other checkpoint personnel is apparently asleep, so you won't even see them firing at stragglers occasionally.
For a single dev 5 EUR game it would be all right, for 20 Euro it is a waste.

Прошёл quarantine zone: the last check 2025 года на пк.

Cute little indie game for a cheap price, gets repetitive quick but worth the price. Had alot of potential for new mechanics and a deeper story, almost all of the base is unused and some quests are not fun (the graffiti one) this studio has potential I'd love to see Quarantine Zone 2 with much more polished gameplay and story.

The game's concept is cool, but it's clear the team lacks experience in game design. Every time a new trait appears, some of the old ones suddenly stop appearing altogether. For example, one day you can literally skip the lung check and lose nothing, as everyone (even zombies) will have perfect lungs. Zombies at the base - the same thing. As a result, it becomes boring quite quickly. P.S. The part about repelling the zombie attack on the base turned out really cool, it's a shame so few people bought the Zombie Gunship (iOS) reference.

Fun simulation game, but it's definitely a few bug fixes away from a solid recommendation at the moment. A couple bugs I encountered today: I accidentally dropped an item during the tutorial and it clipped out of bounds, soft locking the game. Using the reflex hammer regularly ragdolls survivors. Additionally, the UI needs some help, as it feels a little clunky. I do see the potential here though, and I'm looking forward to trying it again as new updates roll out.

Quarantine Zone really hooked me. I love simulation games on almost any theme, and adding zombies on top of that is basically made for me. You constantly feel that one wrong decision can ruin everything - and the zombies will eat everyone (which definitely happened to me more than once). Yes, the game has some flaws and rough edges, which is totally understandable for the studio’s first project, but they don’t ruin the experience at all. On the contrary, you can clearly see the developers’ effort and potential, and most importantly, the game delivers emotions and is genuinely fun to play. I honestly want to come back to it again and again to keep checking on those poor survivors.

Like the general setup and idea. But we are just void of design juice and flair here. For being the only zombie checkpoint game its about as basic as can be. The drone zombie wave fights feel like a total tack on and out of place.

The game is very entertaining. Is like Papers please but with a basic base management, side quest and a mini game. Is not that short as you might expect but also is not long neither and some bugs are present. The easter eggs are good and adding BaityBait was very funny.

Has a genuinely cool concept, clearly inspired by Papers Please and Contraband Police, and when it works, diagnosing survivors and managing the checkpoint can be pretty engaging. Base upgrades, tools, and moral choices give it a solid gameplay loop, but the experience is dragged down hard by bugs, unclear UI, and systems that feel half-finished for a “full release.” Fun and promising at its core, but it often feels like you’re beta testing it instead of playing it. Worth a look after some serious patches.
