Power Rangers Super Megaforce

The whole game is a large pile of harmless fun for a saturday afternoon when nothing much needs doing. If you’re a grown-up fan of the series, then this is the game for you.

It's a manufactured experience that's still more superficial than engrossing, but it's a step in the right direction.

Though it is a much better effort than the prior game, Power Rangers: Super Megaforce is a game that is fine with being mediocre.

Power Rangers Super Megaforce is completely uninspired, but at least knows who it is trying to target and is adequately made. As a bit of fan service, it succeeds in being connected to the show, but as a game it is repetitive, with half-realised ideas that could have made the experience more engaging but never really live up to their potential.

The lack of diversity and challenge is boring and the level design doesn’t do anything to help the gameplay.

Skip this game and keep your fingers crossed that the next one will be better.

Many may be tempted to try it out to relive some fond childhood memories, but there's nothing here for you aside from a disappointing, repetitive beat-em-up with nothing new to bring to the table. Even children who love the Power Rangers franchise will find little to engross them in this sadly disappointing title.
