A much better experience than what was expected. The change in the rhythm and the emphasis in the story elements manage to captivate the player in a way that the Game Boy Advance versions couldn’t.
If you have any interest at all in Pokémon this game will surpass your expectations.
Another good game with pocket monsters, providing hours of fun for fans. But it does not offer the same breath of fresh air as last year's X and Y.

This game is one of the most boring Pokemon games i've ever played, the difficulty (Exp. Share and getting Mega Latias mid story really deletes any challenge the game had), it absolutely butchered the Hoenn games in terms of soundtrack and soul it used to have, and quite frankly; this game barely adds anything new to the game (..if you don't count XY's mechanics of course), the graphics are not anything impressive and i'm dissapointed at a lack of features from Emerald, and of course the removal of the game corner, can't forget about that, this game overall feels rushed, reusing many assets from XY that i think could have been easily replaced, however i will admit that some of the gym reworks are actually better than their original counterparts and the improved gym leader designs, however they still couldn't afford to make them a 3d model in battle for some reason despite having an overworld model (like 3 other characters have a battle model for some reason). Believe me, i love Hoenn, but this is just not it, if it were improved upon like HGSS then maybe this game would be worth a playthrough, but it really isn't, just play RSE.

The game was decent, and the combat was like any other pokemon game, but it had too much water

While I wish a few things were done differently and the difficulty increased a little bit, these are still two very enjoyable outings.

The core mechanics of Pokemon remain immensely addictive, and Game Freak's latest coat of polish only enhances an already captivating adventure.

Out of all the DS and 3DS Pokemon games this one in my opinion is one of the best. This game is amazing from the story to the battles.

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are terrific, overlaying several new features on a couple of classic games.

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire aren’t just great RPGs, they’re a great example as to why Pokémon might be the surest thing in gaming.

It's a seemingly simple and cute journey, but with the underlying potential for strategy in combat, and a massive number of adorable Pokemon to catch, you can't help getting hooked by Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Aside from dropping the popular Friend Safari, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire bring all the improvements and features from X/Y to the world of Ruby/Sapphire as expected. The presentation has minor issues, mechanics retained from Ruby/Sapphire are still not fun, and the diminished difficulty and lack of any draw for newcomers make this a less appealing game than X/Y for those who are picky about which Pokémon titles they play.

Once again, the main series of Pokemon games have kept its traditions intact with players battling, trading and training. New additions keep bringing players back with each new release. Plus, with The Pokemon Company International ratcheting up competitive support for these games at its live event, there is seemingly no end to what is possible for Pokemon.

This was the first Pokémon game that I nuzlocked, so it holds a special place in my heart, but I do say that there are better Pokémon games, but still recommendable.

Pretty cool but its crazy easy and has game breaking bugs. Graphics aren't spectacular either.

This game is painfully boring. There are a few redeeming features, such as, the ability to ride Latios/Latias. The new mega's are mostly nice. The game just feels slow, bland, and repetitive. It's a waste of time and my least favorite entry in the series.

SummaryPokemon players first enjoyed Pokemon Ruby Version and Pokemon Sapphire Version when it launched in 2003 for the Game Boy Advance. Now, a whole new generation of Pokemon fans will experience the storyline that unfolds in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.
