Picross S9 is… well, it’s more Picross. If you’ve never been interested in these types of puzzles then the latest entry isn’t going to change that view but if you’re the kind of person hungry for more grids to solve or seeing dreaming of shading in boxes in your sleep then picking up this latest entry should be a no brainer.

I love Picross! Highly recommended for any fans of puzzles and/or puzzle games. It feels strange to rate a simple puzzle game so highly, but I just love Picross, and there's a lot of value here. I buy every Picross S game when it comes out, and I tend to get about 40 hours of enjoyment out of each one. This edition of the Picross S series introduces a new feature -- you can now rewind puzzles step by step with no penalty. Very handy for those extra-large puzzles, when you realize you've made a mistake 20 or 30 moves later.
