The controls are bad and the whole thing just seems aimless. Even if you’re looking for a wacky few hours of randomness, you’re better off burying your head in the sand.

I would be lying to you if I said I didn't enjoy this game but the biggest sin Ostrich Island commits is that it is too short. Even for $7.99 you can clear it 100% is under 5 hours, which is a shame because the atmosphere begs to be explored and expanded. For what it is it's just too short **** to be ranked higher but certainly not a bad one. Casual gamers, children and those of us that just want to explore the small divided up islands will not be disappointed but I would recommend viewing some gameplay videos first.

SummaryOstrich Island is the unique mix between an adventure (explore beautiful islands and search for collectibles) and a platformer (jump over dangerous waters, run and kick different objects), with a slight hint of role-playing game (level up and gain new abilities).
