Ninja Senki

Ninja Senki DX features some good improvements over the already tough as nails freeware experience from several years ago. It’s quite fun to experience as a newcomer, provided you sharpen your skills as fast as possible and don’t lose your temper with the constant restarts, and quite challenging for veterans through the extra modes and revised elements.

The controls are tight, the visuals and audio are simple and charming, enemy types are varied and interesting, and you get to shower opponents with an endless barrage of giant shurikens, which never gets old.

Ninja Senki DX is a good game, like its predecessor, but the new version doesn't add anything memorable compared to past gaming experience.

Succeeds in replicating what’s already been done, which is fine, but it fails to be a classic in its own right.

A retro delicatessen that's too short and shallow to become a classic, but it's capable of entertaining as it is.

Even for a game priced at five dollars, Ninja Senki DX is a letdown.
