Frankly, the game's extremely emergent-driven design genuinely impressed me. It felt like a groundbreaking impact on the puzzle platformer genre.
That unique feeling of starting without a clear understanding of the tools or how to use them effectively, only to gradually grasp them through gameplay and feel your own skill adapt and improve specifically for this game, is truly compelling and addictive.

A standout in emergent gameplay. The immense satisfaction of solving a puzzle that has no intended solution is something that not even a finely crafted puzzle game can deliver. Now be warned, with that comes the fact that this game is quite random, including the difficulty. But the shuffling level system leverages that in an ingenious way by allowing players to complete the easier levels first, and leaving harder and harder levels to beat until it builds to the hardest, and most satisfying level to beat for last. Ingenious.

Mosa Lina is not necessarily a surreal game, but the gimmick and mechanics of the game are unique. It REALLY feels like an old web game / flash game, it had a multiplayer update not long ago which I played with late, it’s honestly really fun to do co op and so stupid. You’re set a bunch of random levels that are randomly arranged / generated (I think) and are given a set pool of 9 ish items to utilise from the game. It randomises 3 of those to use per level and mixes them up until you manage to beat the puzzle. The idea is really neat and the items in game are super fun and unique, you basically make your own solutions to a (sometimes) possible puzzle. Cool gimmick and a lot of fun to **** about doing, I miss playing co-op games such as this so I really enjoyed myself with it 7.8/10
