Moomintroll: Winter's Warmth is a short and sweet game that is beautiful to look at and play. The journey through Moominvalley and the characters you meet make the entire experience worth it.

It’s beautifully produced and absolutely in line with the way that Jansson’s Moomin works ran. They’ve always left me wanting more, and I can’t wait until the next Moomin game comes my way.

Excellence in gameplay, meticulous care in visuals and strong bonds of friendship in emotional core build up a masterpiece of an adventure. Pacing is tight and the metroidvania elements are well placed, but it's the construction of a found family that really sells the whole package. Moomintroll: Winter's Warmth will warm even an ice cold heart.

Aside from those infrequent technical issues, this is a smooth, comforting, and narratively rich experience. Moomintroll: Winter’s Warmth's balance of warmth and depth is everything I want from a cozy game in the modern era. I can already anticipate that I’ll be returning to the charm of Moominvalley in a few months, when the Lady of the Cold visits me as well.

I could see myself getting more immersed in the game during the winter, but ultimately, Moomintroll: Winter's Warmth is a wholesome, cozy adventure I'd absolutely recommend.
