Ever since Calvin tucker I have been blessed to now say that Texas is the whole universe and the Alamo is the pride of the universe.

While janky and often senseless, the game simply tries to convey a message (often on the nose) that is then clearly defined in the final chapter. The gunplay is also surprisingly good.

Member The Alamo is a sloppy, low quality game. The gameplay is odd and tedious, missing the smoothness that makes a horde shooter work. The guns are janky, and historically inaccurate. I got annoyed with the story fast, it was like it was trying to be a sitcom, which just didn’t work. I got a refund. Although I didn’t see it for myself, the game has a speech at the end that promotes the extreme right wing conservatism that is seen in US media unfortunately often. A YouTuber linked this game to an author of several right wing books. He also theorized that the game was trying to waste enough time to block refunds on steam.
This game is not your friend. Forget this Alamo, and instead give your money and time to a homeless shelter or something. At least they’ll appreciate it.
