Man of Steel" is an epic reinvention of Superman. Visually shocking, with a powerful Hans Zimmer soundtrack and spectacular action sequences. The serious and realistic approach works well to give weight to the character, and the relationship with the Kents provides a solid emotional background. Although the script accelerates too much at climax and the dark tone may not be for everyone, as a source film it sets a modern Superman very well. For me, it is one of the best adaptations of the hero on the big screen.

and the best superman movie alongside with First Christopher Reeve superman. everything is so epic and badass! i cant get tired of the cinematography and the music. still to this day i dont understand why ppl hate this movie

Man of Steel reduces one of our most iconic superheroes to just another iOS brawler, and not even a particularly good one. It has some impressive flash and crackling sound design, but shows all of its tricks too early and subsequently grows redundant.

In the end, shoehorning Superman into the now-hackneyed ‘Infinity Blade’ template just doesn’t work for me. With the film in theaters after a long layoff, and the fact that this has to be one of the biggest IPs in entertainment, I expected something little more original.

Man of Steel ($2.99, iPhone / $4.99, iPad) is too simple to recommend, but it still provides some mindless fun making it worth considering depending on how much you like brawler games and Superman.

Man of Steel offers decent Infinity Blade-style fighting, but not even Superman can save its shallow depth, pathetic plot, lazy repetition, and unoriginal gameplay from certain destruction.

This is the best modern take of superman there will ever be. You have Zack Snyders amazing attention to detail and the script by Dark knight trilogy Christopher Nolan a faithful modern and respected take in the new Superman that has carried the Legacy of Christopher Reeves Superman. 10/10
