With great art, strategy and music Lucadian Chronicles will likely be a card fan-favorite. Though at times loading was a bit slow, music was repetitive, and during dialogue interactions, music or sound was absent, this game made me want more.

The story's rather lame, and the occasional presentational hiccup can be jarring, but these shouldn't deter players interested in the genre — anyone who enjoys card games, either online or physically, should at least give this one a spin.

This game provides a new spin on an old idea. It's a simplistic card game, but comes with a hidden depth of strategy that keeps the game entertaining, even after you finish the campaign mode. Lets start with what this game offers: As a free demo, this game offers you one chapter of campaign mode, and daily drafts/challenges. You could theoretically acquire every single card (104 total) without ever paying a single cent. If you're willing to pay the measly cost for the full product, you get access to the entire campaign (5+ chapters), unlimited drafts, daily challenges and leagues. You'll be able to acquire cards much quicker by going through the full campaign mode. One other high point for this game - given the in-game currency of gold that you use to purchase packs, there are no microtransactions. You'll never been prompted to purchase additional gold coins. The only way to earn coins is to play through the campaign mode, daily challenges, win at either 2 or 4 player drafts, or score high enough in league play. I've been thoroughly entertained playing this game. picking it up has afforded me many more hours than I could have possibly hoped for.

this is definetely one of the better games on the wii u that is third party.although the game has a little clunky infrastructure and it can get difficult to play with friends its completely ammended by the great community that it has thanks to mii verse plus the social features never get in your way. This I can say is one of the few games that does social features with complete strangers right even though playing with friends is a daring task, this game definitely deserves the title king of social card games on wii u.
