If you ignore a few heavy-handed plotlines, half the jokes and an absurd ending sequence, Wet Dreams Dry Twice is a fun adventure, and a big improvement over the previous game, Wet Dreams Don’t Dry.

Wet Dreams Dry Twice is a solid sequel to 2018’s entry. Some unfortunate polish issues and inconsistent puzzle difficulty stop it being great. Larry is the same oblivious, sexist, backwards thinking womaniser he’s always been but this adventure might help him grow… might!

Wet Dreams Dry Twice is an okay sequel to the reboot of a genre-classic series and its faithfulness to old-school sensibilities is both a strength and a weakness. While the humor is a bit too juvenile for my taste, it does manage to elicit some laughs every now and then. On the other hand, players wanting a fresher take on design and writing might want to look elsewhere.

Great game, great puzzles. Point’n’Click adventures with intelligent puzzles and such a high production value are a rarity these days. Of course, some people probably won’t like the crude humor but all in all Wet Dreams Dry Twice is even better than the first part. I’m giving it a full 10 score instead of a deserved 9 to even things out at least a little: Because same as with the first part, some people just seem to dislike the game because the creator of the originals involved (Al Lowe) wasn‘t involved in its development.

Used to love all the old lsl games, along with SQ, PQ, Monkey Island...basically anything SCUMM. The nostalgia of those games kept me interested and invested in playing this game for about 30 mins. As much as I'd liked to have enjoyed this game it just didn't have the spark, the character or humor that made these original titles so much fun. Half way through some new character's drawn out introductory monologue I realized I was not only bored but I just didn't care about larry anymore.... :( This isn't a bad point and click adventure by any means, it just feels a little hand-holdy, slow and devoid of whatever that special spark is.

I think this game is awesome. Even better than the last one Wet Dreams Don´t Dry. I have the feeling, that people who write all the negative reviews don´t like adventure games in general. If you don´t, just download a shooter or whatever, but don´t flame a Larry Adventure for what it is: A Larry adventure.

One of the best point 'n' click adventures of recent years, a worthy continuation of Sierra's classic Leisure Suit Larry games.

Certainly not one of the general gaming public… but if you like your smutty games less explicit and more tongue in cheek(s)… then this might just tickle your fancy. For those who are old enough to remember the originals, there are a few small moments of nostalgia but then much like Larry (and Austin Powers) you have to remind yourself that this is a more modern and considerate world we live in and you can still have your smutty jokes… you just might have to work a bit harder to get them. Perhaps wait till it’s on special though unless you are a die hard fan.

While Al Lowe’s absence and the indie budget are acutely visible and the “moon logic” does show its head now and then, the latest LSL game from CrazyBunch has some subtle improvements over its predecessor and provides a welcoming and entertaining addition to the series.

Wet Dreams Dry Twice is a decent 2D point'n'click adventure, one that seems to be tailor made for old school fans. Unfortunately the juvenile humour and slogging pace don't do the game any favours in order to be appreciated by the general public.

By no means the worst in this unfortunate line of adventure games, Leisure Suit Larry: Wet Dreams Dry Twice has forgotten what makes a Leisure Suit Larry game fun. What's that? Well, apart from puzzles that don't drag out so freaking long, a Larry game mostly needs that kind of naughty humour that's less about penis-shaped props, and way-too-obvious dirty jokes, and more about the loser protagonist's lust getting him into all sorts of crazy situations.

Even though the game has a few small bugs that still need to be refined (nothing gamebreaking) the overall experience and humor is great! The game is well done and designed but doesn't take itself too seriously at times. The plot thickens towards the end and especially some of the last sequences were nothing short of a masterpiece. Even better than the first game overall in my opinion. Only bad things that make it fall short of a 10 for me is the few minor bugs that could be polished and there were a few puzzles which were a bit unfair towards the player but brilliant none the less :)

Loved it. Really don't know where the low scores come from, since this is equally as good as the previous game. I even prefer this installment, since it's a tad longer and I'm a **** for caribbean-style island settings in adventures. Is it as good as Larry 7? Nope. Nothing is. But this ain't far behind. I think there's a demo. Try it yourself!

SummaryNo obstacle will keep me away from my beloved, my Faith, not even the wild and untamed islands of Kalau’a. Those lovely island ladies can only distract me for so long as my heart’s compass only points in one direction - Faith!
