phenomenal game with great gameplay mechanics and story especially one of the best rpgs

I loved Kingdom Come: Deliverance II even more than the first game. The graphics have improved significantly. The nature are stunning. Playing on two separate maps added variety. The combat mechanics have been simplified compared to the first game, and combos have been made easier, which I really appreciated. Dialogues with other players and critical decisions have been improved. The DLCs are better and more playable than the first game. I especially loved the DLC where we unlock our own blacksmith. It's a masterpiece that truly makes you feel like you're living in the Middle Ages.

I played 190 hours and still haven't completed everything. This is a true gem of an RPG - immersive, funny, stressful, complex, weirdly compelling. It's a tough start, the first several hours you are learning systems, you have no powers and can barely fight, no money .. but stick with it and your Henry will grow into, well whatever you decide. Yes you can play as a thief, rascal and murderer, but expect to have consequences. Try and be a little angel and you'll get some nice comments and respect. The combat is the only area where the game annoyed me, and I know it's trying to be somewhat realistic rather than fun, but still, not for me, although it does get a bit better when you eventually have tons of perk points and good armour. So, what can I say, KCD2 makes you fee like you're living in medieval Bohemia and taking part in real history, helping to shape events and affecting people's lives. NPCs aren't just animatronics they move and live in the world. Some conversations are priceless. Hats off to developers, hope they make a great Lord of the Rings game.

I went into this with doubts because they said the game was hard, but boy oh boy, it was amazing. The visuals, the story, and the world were amazing. The AI in this game was very well done. It was unique how they want you to approach this game. You have to be clever and beware of your actions or you will be punished. The feeling of the game itself is beautiful. I loved it !! 8.9 for me.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a game that seems to confuse realism with fun, and in the end, it just becomes boring. The idea of being an extremely realistic medieval RPG could work very well, but in practice, many of its mechanics end up making the experience slow, tedious, and not very enjoyable. The combat is unintuitive, traveling takes too long, and many quests feel more like chores than adventures. The excessive amount of dialogue and bureaucratic tasks also hurts the pacing quite a lot, constantly interrupting interesting moments with long stretches of tedious filler. The progression system also requires a great deal of patience, since the character starts out extremely limited and takes a long time to become truly competent. While all this difficulty is part of the game's design, for many players it ends up feeling more like an artificial barrier than an interesting challenge. In the end, Kingdom Come: Deliverance has some good ideas and a detailed medieval setting, but its sluggish pacing, frustrating combat, and excessive focus on realism can turn what should have been an epic experience into something simply boring and exhausting. On top of that, all the minigames and side challenges are extremely annoying and poorly designed. Even mechanics that were copied from other games somehow manage to be much worse here. Another detail worth mentioning is the first-person camera, which is terribly implemented. In its attempt to create immersion, it only turns the entire experience into a challenge of “try not to get motion sickness. ”After Warhorse's next game set in the Lord of the Rings universe is released, people will remember Shadow of Mordor the way a kid who played Zelda: Ocarina of Time back in '98 would remember it.

I’ve never written a review before, despite playing around 50-70 games over the past two years. But this game is a true masterpiece. The dialogue, the characters, the combat system, I love everything about it. I adore its humor, its atmosphere, and its absolutely cinematic story. After more than 70 hours, I can confidently say this to anyone still wondering whether to play it: just do it. This is the kind of journey you simply have to experience for yourself.

I never played the first game but playing KCD2 never made me miss not having played it, the story flows seamlessly and every step of the way the game makes sure you're following the narrative. Combat is challenging but I genuinely believe the setting and side quests alongside the many vocations you can achieve more than make up for it. A breath of fresh air and genuinely cannot wait to see what warhorse does next.

What can I say just the best game I ever played. Never in my life I have played a story game for this long achiving every achievements in the whole game

I have now 500 hours in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 and now it is my second favorite game I woud recommend it to everyone who likes medival.

This game has some potential I suppose, its just tedious and less fun than it should be.

It’s been over a year since the game came out, and I’ve only just encountered the first bug in a side quest tied to characters from the main story. There have been dozens of updates, but if there’s a bug in the very first side quest, I can’t even imagine what the rest will be like. Other than that, there have been no improvements or positive changes in gameplay compared to the first game, which came out in 2018. It’s just as clunky and slow as ever. I didn't even finish the first game, and it looks like this one won't be any different.

One of the best games I’ve ever played; the music, the story, and the environment made me realize that modern video games can still surprise you.

Really fun game. Until you get stuck targeting a single enemy while the others just casually stroll behind you and stab you in the back because the game doesn't want to let you change who you FORCIBLY lock on to. wtf is wrong with combat.*. And what's up with staring at the sky and **** during combat and the **** horse controls. Can’t hit enemies in some of their animations which causes you to just do nothing and actually delay the next 5 seconds of inputs is terrible. Don't think a game is supposed to make you wish you were there to do a better job. Luckily, the game has some fun humor and the storyline and romance options are actually interesting.

اصلا فکرش رو نمی‌کردم بعد بازی‌هایی مثل ویچر ۳ و سایبرپانک و ...، یه بازی بتونه بشه جزو بهترین بازی‌هایی که بازی کردم. در اصل میشه گفت من در این بازی زندگی کردم، داستان فوق‌العاده زیبا و زنده، شخصیت‌پردازی‌های درجه‌یک به طوری که انگار هر شخصیت واقعی بود. واقعاً حس عشق و غم و شادی رو در لحظه داستان می‌تونی باهاشون همراه شی. روند داستان از ابتدا تا انتها نه آدم رو خسته میکنه نه کم و کاستی داره. هر لحظه داستان بازی میخکوب‌کننده و زیبا. چه ماموریت‌های اصلی چه ماموریت‌های فرعی، همگی به زیبایی هرچه تمام ساخته شدند، همه از همدیگه بهتر بودن. گیم‌پلی واقعاً زیبا و سرگرم‌کننده، چه جنگیدن، چه شخصی‌سازی و حتی خواب و بیداری و گرسنگی. یک بازی آر پی جی کامل و بدون هیچ نقصی. گرافیک فوق‌العاده زیبا و بهینه بدون هیچ ایرادی. موسیقی گوش‌نواز و به یاد ماندنی. هرچی بگم از این بازی کم گفتم. واقعاً فوق‌العاده بود. ۸۴ ساعت پلی دادم بازی رو بدون اینکه یه ذره هم خسته شم. خدا را شکر بازیش چند دی ال سی داستانی هم گرفته که الان می‌خوام اونارو تجربه کنم. بی‌صبرانه منتظر بازی‌های بعدی این استودیو هستم.

Amazing in so many aspects, definitely a legendary title. I'd say it's comparable to RDR2.

Even during moments without major gameplay innovations, the game's excellent dialogue and character writing keep you fully immersed in its **** of the game's greatest strengths is that almost nothing feels rushed or thrown together. Every quest, every region, and every little detail clearly reflects a tremendous amount of care and craftsmanship. The cinematic quality isn't limited to the main story either—many side quests feature scenes that are more polished and memorable than the main stories of many other **** game also delivers an incredibly authentic role-playing experience. You don't just feel like you're controlling a character; you genuinely feel as though you're living in that world. Because of that, it's an amazing experience for anyone looking to escape reality for a while and lose themselves in a completely different atmosphere.I'm not sure if it's the greatest game I've ever played, but I can confidently say it's the one I've enjoyed the most and the only one that never bored me for a single moment. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves RPGs.

Игра с большим, открытым миром и множеством механик. Очень правдоподобно передана эпоха средневековья. Игра довольна недружелюбна в игроку и постоянно норовит тебя нагнуть. Причём не важно, на сколько ты прокачан, враги всё равно способны тебя легко одолеть. Это безусловно добавляет интереса, когда рандомный разбойник убивает тебя с 3 тычек.Сюжет в целом интересный, графика и музыка отличные. Задания отличаются своей оригинальностью. К минусам отнёс бы систему прокачки, которая очень мудрёная, а её эффект ощущается минимально. Так же мне очень не нравится, что в достижениях есть ачивки из DLC, который нужно купить, чтобы получить, а так же отсутствует возможность получить все ачивки с одного прохождения, что раздражает.

Not getting the 'Best RPG' award is a disgrace to the game awards, to be honest. WarHorse Studio deserved much better for this masterpiece—absolutely peak gameplay experience.

In my humble opinion, it takes everything good from the first game and expands it to another level, plus the game's humor hits hard.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II - After finishing KCD1, I couldn't wait for KCD2—and this game didn't disappoint me. A beautiful storyline, great graphics, a vast world, the city of Kuttenberg (Kutná Hora), a vibrant world, great side quests—simply a world you can immerse yourself in for 8 hours a day and never want to leave. Great progression, though if you rush through everything, the game quickly becomes too easy; still, you can see character development, the same great skill system from the previous game, a great protagonist anyone can relate to, brilliantly written antagonists—I’ve never seen better-written characters on the opposing side; I could write an essay about how great each one is, but I don’t want to write 1,000-word ramblings. This is absolutely not a game for everyone; in my opinion, it’s a game that’s perfect for people looking for another game in the vein of RDR2.

PROS: - beautiful immersive world - refined fighting system from the first game CONS: - way too many filler fetch quests - first game was about a journey of a young peasant from nothing to becoming a knight and searching for revenge for his family. The second is about a complicated political plot that I had no interest in. - still a lot of annoying bugs

Way too hard for me, I have kept trying and trying but recently uninstalled after 30 hours and endlessly getting killed on Easy mode. I do want to keep playing it however.

Kcd2 est un très bon rpg médiévale. Parmi ses points forts, on compte la narration qui est vraiment bonne, les personnages qui sont très attachants et l’immersion qui est très bonne. Le gameplay est plutôt correcte, disons qu’il est assez difficile à prendre en main au début du jeu, mais au fur et à mesure notre personnage devient de plus en plus puissant ce qui rend le gameplay bien plus agréable. Les seuls point négatifs que j’ai à trouvé pourrait être la qualité graphique qui n’est pas époustouflante, mais en bref, c’est un très bon jeu et très bon rpg.

i am very disappointed, the story is mediocre, the animations are too long, dialogs are shallow, you cant save at will, the game doesn't explain properly many mechanics, play it only in game pass, don't waste $$$ on this game.

Incredible story, beautiful graphics, well-written characters, intriguing plot, fantastic dialogue, brilliantly crafted missions, and a wonderful world. I could go on and on. The only thing you have to accept is the clunky mechanics, which perfectly fit the 'medieval simulation' genre. All due respect Czechs, great job!!!! Kurwa Bravo !!

На мой взгляд, это новое слово в жанре средневекового RPG с открытым миром. Минусы, безусловно, есть, например экономика, немного душная боёвка, не предназначенная для массовых боёв, но на это можно закрыть глаза, учитывая прекраснейшую графику природы в открытом мире, изобилие диалогов, квестов и возможностей.

this game has one of the worst combat systems ever made. I don't know who was that funny guy that thought losing Hp and stamina when hit is fun to play, i rather play eldent ring and get oneshoted by an AoE attack instead oif having to fight 2v1 in this game. It's a 6/10 only because of the really good graphics, nice story and fun minigames. this game could have been a 10 if only it had fight system like for honor instead of having a "turn-based" fighting system as it has now, where you need to block all the time and try to attack. When you try to combo an enemy he will most likely block all your attacks and them counter you dealing (in worst scenario) 25% of your health. Buy KCD1 (because it is cheaper) and see if you like this crappy system, if not, do not buy this game, it will only make you waste your time. Edit. after giving this game a chance i have never seen worst combat system in any game i have ever played.

(№10, 3 месяца) КСД2 принес огромный кайф с первой минуты. Залип на несколько месяцев. прошел все длс, зачистил всю карту, выиграл все турниры. Уровень погружения в атмосферу средневековья просто вышка. Сюжет ахрененный, с добавлением пары модов интерес возрастает. Я прошел без индикатора блока. во 2й части нет душных моментов, которые были в первой. Это однозначно одна из топ-3 игр, в которые я играл в жизни. Я очень очень надеюсь, что когда нибудь выйдет 3я часть, неважно сколько мне тогда уже будет лет. Буду скучать по всей серии KCD

This game is the best game EVER!!!! expidihhtion 33 brutally ripped the game awards off this game fingers (blatant bribing). This is slow so if youre a tiktok scrolling monkey this game isnt for you. People say the combat is cluncy and allat but this the BEST medieval combat system i have ever seen its easy to understand but still hard. The story is REALLY good.

I think KCD2 is one of the best game for history and rpg lovers because this game has very realistic historical details and very good RPG material first game was amazing for me and this game is way Better than it i played this game with doing so much Side quest and it still didnt bored me if you love middle ages, history, knights and realizm you must try this game im sure this will be your favorite game .This game was absolute perfect for me and i dont think i will experience a game like this level again

This is the best RPG game ever, my GOTY of 2025, this game is amazing i can write page and page about great this game is and my experience was amazing but I will just stay short and say : massive open world and liveful ! amazing story, big and so crazy fights, impressive amounts of possibilities. This game is all we wanted for some details can be be better for sure but some mods are completing this experience so for me i cant wait to see what's the following for this game.
