*Kingdom Come: Deliverance II* is one of the most impressive games I've ever played, largely because of how constantly it reinvents itself. Every hour or two, I'd find myself thinking, "Surely the game has shown everything it has to offer by now," only to be surprised by a completely new quest design, a fresh gameplay mechanic, or an unexpected atmosphere. The pacing never really slows down. Even during moments without major gameplay innovations, the game's excellent dialogue and character writing keep you fully immersed in its **** of the game's greatest strengths is that almost nothing feels rushed or thrown together. Every quest, every region, and every little detail clearly reflects a tremendous amount of care and craftsmanship. The cinematic quality isn't limited to the main story either—many side quests feature scenes that are more polished and memorable than the main stories of many other **** game also delivers an incredibly authentic role-playing experience. You don't just feel like you're controlling a character; you genuinely feel as though you're living in that world. Because of that, it's an amazing experience for anyone looking to escape reality for a while and lose themselves in a completely different atmosphere.I'm not sure if it's the greatest game I've ever played, but I can confidently say it's the one I've enjoyed the most and the only one that never bored me for a single moment. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone who loves RPGs.
