Overall, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is about as deep as a King of Fighters game.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure isn't a bad fighting game, but it may be too weird for its own good. The 22 characters are hard to relate to and the action is often chaotic for no reason. Worse yet, the game is too expensive for the amount of content. If you can get over some of the imperfections you'll find a good looking fighting game with a lot of memorable characters!

It's hurt by having a bare-bones online setup, not including the PS1 version's story mode, and not improving upon the blah soundtrack of the original game. There are a lot of downloadable fighters on the market now available for less money that are better than this. JJBA HD is a top-shelf bizarre game, but not exactly a top-shelf game in its own right.

A welcomed release, although it comes in with a stout price tag and is not as robust as fans would hope. Still, fighter-fans should keep an eye on it as it is a nice addition to any collection.

Capcom did it again. Such a great game and such a poor porting! JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD simply isn't worth the money Capcom is asking for. The game is great, but the lack of the awesome Story Mode of the old PlayStation version is a shame.

But it's disappointing to see this rerelease does not match the quality of content seen in Third Strike Online. Jotaro and the rest of the Stardust Crusaders have earned such attention, but what they got was the bare minimum.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD is exactly what it set out to be; a re-release of one of the most obscure fighting games of our time. The price is really ridiculous, and obviously set to take advantage of the rare group of players who really want the game.

A genuinely interesting fighting game that was released at a time when accessibility played second fiddle to mechanical depth and combos that demanded a high level of execution. The HD subtitle doesn't add up to a lot in this case, but that shouldn't detract from a 2D fighter that's as much lost treasure as it is bizarre curio.

Despite it being a game out of time, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure HD is still worth playing, provided you're the right type of player.

At the end of the day, it's a fighting game in a crowded sea of them - and a niche one at that.
