Implosion - Never Lose Hope
Implosion - Never Lose Hope could certainly be more memorable if it focused on delivering what it does best - good production values and a compelling customization system. Alas it quickly becomes overrun by repetitive enemies, disappointing combat, uninspired level design and a plot that is easily overlooked. Implosion could have been a memorable and remarkable game but it's clear that the its development went into another direction.
Implosion is a hack 'n' slash action game that looks - from a distance - much better than it actually is. Once you start playing however, you'll find a fairly average (if not downright mediocre) title with some great looking graphics. There's simply nothing unique or enticing about this one aside from its shiny appearance, so you're probably best to look elsewhere if you're looking for something that engages you in any meaningful way.
It looks good, plays great, and is a very solid and affordable title for the Nintendo Switch. If you are looking for something a bit darker and faster paced on the Switch, Implosion is a solid choice.

It’s a good game. The only downside is the poor guiding or explaining the Ark setting/upgrade. There’s no tutorial ,you just have to figure it out. It’s a shame. Gameplay is not bad but some bosses are real sponges. Iskind of cheap but I did finished it and had a little bit of fun. Voice acting, graphics and the music are all good. Just make sure to understand the upgrading part of the game before you dive in it.

非常適合以移動形式傳輸的手機遊戲 :D :D :D - very impressive that port fro mobile can still hold up today and from years ago! Really good voice acting and has a story, unlike games that are peers of this title. Great polish.

Compared with the mobile version, the vibration function is added. The battle is more fun, but the depth of the plot is insufficient.

Looking at the big picture this is probably the most mainstream-friendly indie title I’ve played on the Switch that I would anticipate will appeal to a wide audience. While not as deep as something you’d see from the likes of Platinum Games, the general gameplay hook is there, combining fast-paced melee combo attacks with some gunplay and strategic combat. The fact that it is being delivered in a budget-friendly package with so much content out of the gate more than compensates for the relative age and somewhat dated visuals it brings along for the ride. If you’re looking for something to get your adrenaline pumping, whether you’re at home or on the go, Implosion delivers a challenge and excitement in a wallet-friendly package.

Un buen juego para pasar el rato. Me ha enganchado bastante. Por el precio es una muy buena compra. Lo recomiendo para quien quiera machacar los botones un rato eliminando minions.

At $12, you can’t go wrong with Implosion. While it sometimes shows its mobile roots, the Switch version of the game is frantic, fluid fun with a great amount of content and thrilling gameplay. It’s games like these that make me never lose hope that Rayark will astound me again with its next release.

Implosion is a satisfying mobile game that ultimately feels worthy of its console release, but it is a little inconsistent in its execution. Weak writing and ho-hum presentation are balanced by the depth of replayability and mindless but fun hack ‘n’ slash gameplay. We give Implosion a moderate recommendation; though it certainly doesn’t hold a candle to big-name alternatives, Implosion does a good job of creating an engaging and entertaining gameplay experience that’ll give you many hours of fun.

While it’s not to the standard of its rhythm games, Rayark did well with its first RPG. Implosion looks gorgeous and is a very slick production. You can tell that it’s a game that comes from a studio that has had minimal need to develop narratives previously, and on the Nintendo Switch, the game’s mobile roots hurt it, but then the Nintendo Switch is also a portable console, and as a game that’s best played in short bursts, it’s a good one to have sitting on the hard drive or memory card.

For an Indie game ported from Mobile, this gets a 10 for "best in class"... hands down.

I've never tried Implosion on tablets, so it's my first experience with the game on my Nintendo Switch. I love hack'n'slash games......like Diablo 3......This games is so cool - a science fiction adventure on earth. I'm impressed from the developers what I got for my money. When I finished the campaign, ohhh yes extra levels for testing your skill as warmech-III ect. Now I've begun hunting badges :oP If I could ask for more, well it should be more stories, chars and the abilities to customize my warmech ect. - The ARK system gives you a minor RPG feeling and customizing. Keep it up - and I'm looking forward to more RPG and content in this game :) I'll defently recommend it if you like the genre of aliens, mechs combied with hack and slash gaming. Last, you can bring it with you, runs soooo fine also in table-top or handled.

Visually impressive given its mobile roots, Implosion is a solid top-down action shoot-'em-up / hack-and-slash. The story is a bit baffling and the dialogue is sometimes hokey, but it's not that bad. It does get pretty challenging by the end of the second chapter, but fortunately you can go back and replay any completed stage to grind experience if needed.

Don't play hard mode. I image the game is OK on normal. On hard mode, everything has WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too much HP. TOO. MUCH. HP. It's not difficult, but very very tedious. By the time I grind down a boss, I would have grandchildren.
