Huntsman: The Orphanage does manage to convey a sense of terror in its quiet moments, but they're more benign chills than you find in bloodier horror adventures that let you fight back or at least present enemies who do more than engulf you in darkness.

This horror game is not finished, and what we get with the "Black Friday Edition" is really bad.

I don't think this game will appeal to many more "action" oriented gamers who expect to shoot their way through everything. For those into stories, this game is very nicely done. Some game features need to be fleshed out more or I'd give it a higher rating but for an environmental suspense type of tension as you learn the stories.. Very nicely done.

Not a good game. At all every aspect of it falls flat, graphics, sound, pacing, design. Just a bad game, pick up outlast and/or amnesia (even a machine for pigs) far superior games.

Awesome game for indie horror fans! The game has improved a lot over the last couple of months with new features and bug fixes. There is even a free texture pack coming out. This game may not appeal to fans of run-and-gun games where you blow stuff up and are rewarded with news ways to blow more stuff up, but most people with enough attention span and a little intellect will get a lot out of this game. Not to mention, it's pretty cheap.

This is a wonderful game by a wonderful developer. It is constantly being updated so a save feature will be added in the next week. A must buy if you enjoy horror games.

The game is indeed in beta, so there are some issues with saving, pausing, buggy controls, etc but the devs are working hard on fixing these issues, and are currently working with the community to address them all and weed them out in time for the ultimate release on Halloween. The game's concept is interesting, if a little lacking stylistically, but overall, I'm happy with the direction this game is taking, and it's a nice diversion from overly violence and shock-tastic games like Outlast.

Wandered around aimlessly with no clue what the hell I was supposed to be doing... no introduction or story, just plonked in the middle of nowhere... bored and uninstalled after 15 minutes of absolutely nothing happening.

Game might be fun, but the lack of save feature is TOTALLY annoying and cause real issue if you wanna play the game. Pressing esc by reflex also just close the game. The game is released half-finished and lack MOST important features.
