This game is a masterpiece! We have never seen such a harmonic virtual world before. The story is as good as a movie and the graphics offer tons of incredible moments. GTA IV is more than a game.
An absolutely essential landmark title for the games industry. In terms of the sheer scope, emotion, ambition, and the stupidly high fun factor it offers, there is no better available in the genre today. In fact, no one else comes anywhere near.
It's not merely the fact that Rockstar have taken an already engaging gameworld and rebuilt it from the ground up, it's the fact that they've done that, and shoehorned in realistic weather systems, day to night transitions, realtime lighting, realistic character movement and animation, realistic physics and kinetics, incidental details, solid and well written dialogue, convincing AI and non-player characters and a multiplayer system that puts other games to shame.
Almost everything you do in Liberty City would be good enough to drive its own game, and the best parts would be good enough to outrun the competition, but the reason it works so well is that Rockstar has made a game that requires no patience to play. This, as much as its usual coherency and the best script in the series, is what makes GTA IV the best openworld game yet, and why it will take something miraculous to rob it of game of the year status.
Grand Theft Auto IV is the sex, drugs, and rock and roll of video games. It's a little less brave and intimidating this time around, but it’s also the most refined and polished game in the franchise’s history. This kind of sheen is generally reserved for titles with a much smaller scope.
This is a more refined, smoother game than its predecessors, and is almost certainly the most thoroughly interactive form of entertainment ever created, especially with the fantastic multiplayer options. But it's also more self-consciously constructed than the previous two GTA games, and in my eyes, a little less engaging.
As a little kid playing GTA IV I never progressed through the story, And instead messed around with cheats and the game physics engine As any kid would. But even then, I found this game to be extremely enjoyable. There’s so many little things that bring this came to life even if you’re just free roaming. I remember discovering you can pick up most dropped Items in game and throw them, I remember discovering how to hang on to cars as they drove, and watching the Euphoria physics do its thing, and just so many little things that really brought the world to life. But I decided to pick this game up again being older and genuinely see what the game had to offer and its full potential because I feel I only scratched the surface. And that turned out to be true. Even just the intro had so much to establish, And the score is great. and the radio as well, There’s something for everyone, As well as something NEW For everyone. I didn’t think I could get into foreign music, but this game got me into Кино. Hell, even the loading screen is phenomenal and the music accompanying it, It’s the only loading screen I’ve ever wanted to be longer. Niko bellic is such a well likable protagonist and fictional character that isn’t perfect, but isn’t entirely flawed either. Before my replaying of GTA 4 I had beaten RDR one and two, and I noticed that John Marston‘s character borrows a lot of traits from Niko bellic. The vague dark past that has come back to haunt them, And is currently trying to bury them, only to find it never truly goes away and the past haunts you forever, and revenge is a “fools game”. And that’s just Niko There’s so many well likable characters in this game, As well as a few characters I hated, but I never hated any character due to poor writing. And when I truly experienced the entire entirety of the map for the first time, It was surreal even in 2025. It’s a perfect time capsule of New York In the mid 2000s. And besides missions, there’s so much more to do. I have completed the game 100% Which was sort of a pain, but it was never outright unenjoyable. This game isn’t the power trip that say San Andreas is, you can’t dress Niko up however you want like you could in San Andreas, but it honestly, never really bothered me, In fact, Niko was such a grounded character to me that I couldn’t imagine him in random quirky clothes just for the hell of it, the clothes you can buy in games seem like clothes Niko would actually like to purchase and wear. It makes Niko stay as a grounded character while still being an open world sandbox. Overall, I had a fantastic experience playing grand theft auto auto auto auto four and it’s entirety for the first time in 2025, It is the first game I’ve ever 100% and I do not regret it at all. I recommend this game for anyone looking for a great open world, Story, Great gunplay, Or just a new experience. this game honestly deserves To be the third highest rated game of all time. It truly is a marvel for its time And any aspiring team wishing to make an open world game should really study and review this game. Especially with how rockstar was able to fit this game on eighth generation. It ran pretty well on the 360 all things considered, and I was playing on the OG “phat” model.
While impressive at the time, GTA IV absolutely shows it's age. The world is still fun to run around in, the story is still great, the gameplay is still fun, but GTA V really showed us what a game in this series can be, an while it's an unfair comparison, it's the best one we have nonetheless.
Açık Dünyası Kötü Değil Renk Palet Tarzı Atmosferi Yansıtsada Bayabiliyor Fizikler Mükemmel Optimizasyon Kötü Hikayesi Henüz Bitiremedim Ama İyi Gidiyor Müzikleri Aşırı Güzel Özellikle Giriş Müziği Fakat Kontroller Her Oyun Aynı O Gelişebilirdi Puanım 7 Öneririm
GTA is the same game recycled over and over just like cod and many more these days. Anything in GTA series should not even be close to a ninety. San Andreas maybe because it brought a lot of new and fresh ideas. Still same old game though
