Go-Go Town! is a great game that I will gladly recommend. It's easy to learn and fun to play, with plenty to do without going overboard.

Being the mayor of a cozy town in Go-Go Town! has been a great adventure. It has its frustrating moments, and some tourists were very difficult to deal with. But it certainly adds a cozy appeal to city management, and the game does provide you with plenty of leeway as well. The writing is very fun, hilarious at moments, and the constant humming used instead of voice acting has its own charm, too. The game becomes grindy towards the latter part and there are certainly some bugs like characters disappearing out of nowhere. However, the developers are listening to the community, and they are fixing bugs left and right. The title itself is in a great state, it feels a lot of fun to play, and I found myself immersed in the gameplay and the experience as a whole. It might take a little bit to learn the ins and outs, but the tutorial is great too. Overall, Go-Go Town! is a feast for any cozy game fan, and it’s a journey worth embarking on, even if it has some frustrating moments sometimes.

Go-Go Town! is, above all else, pure fun. An accessible, relaxed mayor simulator that lets you grow your town from a tiny village into a modern metropolis without demanding too much. Don't expect overly complex systems, and it occasionally fails to hide that building works better in co-op, but the rest of the gameplay loop easily outweighs these minor issues. Playing mayor has rarely been this charming.

The town you'll create in Go-Go Town! is unlikely to become your forever home, but it can easily steal a few dozen enjoyable hours before you realise "just a few more minutes" has turned into a late-night landscaping session. It lacks the personality and depth of the genre's greats, yet its relentlessly satisfying progression loop is more than enough to earn it a recommendation for anyone looking to switch their brain off and let their inner mayor - whether laid-back or hopelessly obsessive - clock in.
