Genshin Impact is a well above average RPG to which we will dedicate many hours, but that gets lost in a monetization system typical of the gacha genre that sometimes demands too much from us. However, the free to play experience is wonderful offering us a beautiful and colorful world that can boast an absurdly good character design and a story capable of keeping us hooked.

Genshin Impact is part of a wave of titles from China that is slowly eroding the bad stereotype that Chinese devs are devoid of creativity and skill. While the initial comparisons are there, Genshin Impact does go beyond to distinguish itself…now if only the gacha rates and the free primogem are better I would have no hesitation recommending the title.

Genshin Impact might not be the most original game in a lot of respects, but it certainly has a wealth of things to offer players should they still be willing to give it a chance. Overall, I greatly enjoyed my time with it, and I plan to continue playing once future updates are implemented. The fact that it can be played for free is also quite impressive given just how much time you can invest in the game, especially with people perhaps staying at home more and being on a budget. All in all, Genshin Impact is a surprisingly solid action RPG adventure!

This game is not good and its bad business practice for almost the whole entire generation of mobile gaming because this game has influnced countless game by making every single of its characters limited one and only a select few that is not limited. The game has no skip section and you will have to grind countless hours into this game by watching the story movies and everything. My suggestion is avoid this game entirely unless your willing to spend massive amount just to get everything, but even if you have the limited characters. All the 4 stars and easy to get ones can basically already guide you through the most powerful boss and content

God this game requires you to be an actual no lifer lol. The amount of grinding you need to do the spiral abyss decently, DECENTLY, is crazy. Can't really talk about the story because i dont even know wtf is going on. At first we had to find our sister all of a sudden we helping nations?!?! bruh. The way they deliver the story is so boring i just cant help but to skip it lol.

Even if the quality and animation isn't as good as Wuwa. Let's just say this is a comfort game for every people who played this, the simplicity of the games intrigues me. Sometimes a games doesn't have to be flashy to be recognized it simply because an ass games as genshin brings comfort to people,I myself don't like this f*cking game but it's been 4 years now. With the iconic characters. Every people have their own preferences on a game, if you want to chill, eat dog shi* and amazing storytelling play genshin. And yes wuwa is still a better game than this pile of doggy food. But genshin is still number 1 in my head of course

This is a great ARPG that successfully introduces the ‘gacha’ mechanics into the West. Yes, it is build around micro transactions, but they’re not particularly aggressive, and it’s definitely worth a try.

With a dense open world inspired by Breath of the Wild, Genshin Impact provides hours of free entertainment with its rich combat and deep RPG systems.

Put aside your reservations about free-to-play mobile RPGs, gacha mechanics, and weeby storytelling: Genshin Impact is totally unique. I came in a skeptic and now find myself genuinely relishing hours more time spent chaining elemental combos, grinding for new characters, and the intrigue of its ongoing story.

Its success is already guaranteed, let's just hope that the follow-up is of quality and that its economic model does not reveal any unpleasant surprises with the updates.

Genshin Impact has been nicknamed "Breath of the Waifu" due to its obvious influences and cute characters. But surprisingly, the game is much more than that.

I don't understand the hate for this game at all. What is a "predatory gacha" game? It sounds like people get upset when they lose on pulls not understanding they ARE playing a GACHA game which is sorta like gambling. You could always take the FTP (free to play route)...I did. And now am sitting here 2 years later with over 60 characters and 10 of them are 5 stars. The saddest thing that happened to this game recently is a voice actor strike causing silence and captions where there should be voice which ruins the immersion a bit. Regardless of that literally pretty much every story in the game is excellent. I'm glad miHoyo didn't just throw in AI voice actors instead even at the cost of feeling like the new patches are quick and there is no care involved. It is actually the opposite. This game wanted to be organic so they stuck by their VA's many of which were able to drop their contract and come back. The soundtrack is not synthesized they actually used orchestras and it turned out beautiful. As a long time Zelda fan I gotta say this game seems inspired by breath of the wild and it's recycled counterpart tears of the kingdom. Loved BOTW but this game came along added elements, great combat, a party system, a building system and knocked it out of the park 10x better than zelda could've and that pains me to say since I've been playing Zelda games since the very first title. Then you got people whining that the game is too "grindy". If you don't wanna grind for character building don't play RPGs like in general.. at all unless you want to get an idle rpg and let AI play a game for you because attention span is low then do that.. or don't game at all. I really wish people would quit review bombing this masterpiece because all that really does is point the devs in the wrong direction cuz they think people don't like their game. Rant over as I said this game IS A MASTERPIECE and have literally no complaints just a wish the devs would add more character relation options but it's already around 130GB so prolly not would be cool tho and the ability to customize character outfits and weapon skins even just change the colors. But please stop review bombing this game because it deserves the opposite. Highly recommended game, loved every minute playing since March 2023.

Mid game gacha to be honest. The story is boring in the early and there's no skip button.

I tried to get into this game... it was a mistake. Playing this game feels like someone slapped exhaust on you in league of legends. Why would warriors and gods run out of breath after running like 30 feet? Even i can out run that... What ultimately made me quit was actually the chest. After opening the first one, I knew right away. They really gonna make me pick up every loot one by one? Real kms moment. Ain't nobody got time for that.
