The first major act was enjoyable. However, the Wuling Arc at the end of the main story is extremely concerning due to the extreme low quality story telling. The visual and exploration are both fun and done well through out. it's a shame that the voice acting is just so terrible at the end. If I wanted to hear broken english in a chinese accent, if I wanted to hear ugly unpleasant sounding names, I'd just put on the Chinese dub. And this is coming from someone who can understand chinese. Everything in Wuling outside the scenery is a downgrade from the initial experience of level 1-60. The characters of Wuling looks like they were designed by children hired off temu. Over designed mess. If only Wuling didn't exist... I wouldn't be so worried about this game's future.

This game can get better, and I hope it does. The story is better than every hoyo game story, period. People be dropping like fly in this one. What it lacks is attention to detail, good scene translation and a good director of which i dont blame them considering chinese censorship kills creative freedom. If the game survives, hopefully they will improve upon the presentation like wuthering waves. The combat is fast pace and responsive. However, the game either feels way to easy, or you fight a boss that's a big damage sponge. There's no chance of dying until you start running bosses that are level 60 and above. I've never played warflame, to me, the dodging system feels mid and should be more satisfying. I think they should've simplified the game after they removed the gacha aspect, there are way too many mats to keep track. The grind in this game is more than I like. Killing waves and waves of the same harmless enemies over and over do gets old. Lastly, I want to talk about my personal preference. I am not fan of the playable character designs so far. Honestly I say the best designed character so far is the Mc. Most playable characters looks like temu version of a existing character of a different game. I suppose if they all looked good, no one will buy the skins. After checking the ingame shop thoroughly, there was not a single thing in the shop that motivated me enough to put in my cc. Good for f2p, but it worries me that the game might eos. If it were up to me, I'd definitely lower the brainless grind fatigue, give dodge like a brief timeslow effect and release better characters with better skins asap.

I tried to get into this game... it was a mistake. Playing this game feels like someone slapped exhaust on you in league of legends. Why would warriors and gods run out of breath after running like 30 feet? Even i can out run that... What ultimately made me quit was actually the chest. After opening the first one, I knew right away. They really gonna make me pick up every loot one by one? Real kms moment. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Got this game on sale for $41. Just completed it 100%. There's a lot of meat here for 40 bucks. Before I started, I was dreading how much id have to learn to play this game somewhat optimally. Just thinking about how to min max day to day like in persona gave me a headache. Thankfully its really not bad so don't feel intimidated if you are worried that you won't know what to do. The gameplay is pretty good but not as good as expedition 33. The story is also just short of being great. There are good moments definitely, but nothing jaw dropping or awe-inspiring. The characters are pretty generic. I don't know why they decided to give all the girls werid looking eyes. It made them look artificial and less attractive. For the first time in a persona game, I wasn't interested in any of the girls, nor was any of their voice acting memorable enough for me to like them. If I have to hear Junah shouts "devil summoner" one more time... and what the hell is up with her drip? I finished this game for the gameplay and plot alone. A lot of people critiqued that the ost is lacking and gets repetitive. Personally, after 100% the game, listening to the same battle music over and over didn't really bother me as much as it did in xenoblade 3. Mostly due to music being immersive and smooth. For me, the most disappointing part of the game is the character designs by far. A huge step down from persona 5. The gameplay and story is good enough to keep you playing until the end. For reference. I felt asleep 6 times playing through hsr 1.0 and quit the game after cause I was so bored out of my mind. This game is a way better turn base rpg that is actually engaging. Expect to have fun, but don't expect to goon.

Shadowbringer and endwalker is the greatest fictional story of all time! This is coming from someone who's experienced thousands of movies and games. Nothing has ever made me feel so much emotional impact over and over again. The cinema just never stops. The music is S+ tier! Every song tug at your heart or makes you feel so damn hyped! It'll make you laugh, it will make you cry (lots of crying), but all of it'll make you feel good. So good you'll want to watch other streamers play it just to experience it again. The dialogue and voice acting is the absolute pinnacle of rpg story telling. World building is akin to attack on titan level in terms of how much it all make sense. Endwalker is like that sequel to the greatest movie of all time, but it didn't **** but elevated the original to new heights. These two expansion gives you the emotional impact like the ending of FF10, but from beginning to end. It doesn't just compare, but surpasses it over and over again. Absolute cinema! I doubt anyone will read this because if you finished shadowbringer, there's no way you won't finish endwalker. It's just so god darn perfect!

Shadowbringer also boast arguably one of the greatest if not the greatest villain of all time! If you've got to the ending of FF10, remember the emotional impact? It's done way better here, over and over again not letting up for a second from beginning to the end. The only flaw about it are the expansion you must complete to get to shadowbringer. They are not bad, heavensward is actually pretty good, but none of it is even comparable. Nothing is really comparable in terms of story to these two expansions.

This is a review for an average player who wants to know what he's getting himself into. I finished the game on ps5 pro. The game feels top tier in many aspect. Graphic, world building, environment, character realism... However I think whether you are going to enjoy this game is gonna hinge mostly on it's flaws. The story is extremely predictable in this one, which disappointed me the most. The entire time you feel like the story is gonna get good, but it almost never does and just keeps chipping away at your expectations. In the end the predictability is almost shockingly unsatisfying. The vibe of the dialogue is often off, tropey, cringe even. I felt no emotion impact the entire time. Character deaths are done in a way that leaves much to be desired. Gameplay is slow as ever. Lots of back tracking, lots of slow driving over rocks you can easily get stuck on. The stunning scenery was the only thing keeping me engaged during many hours of slow driving. It really gives that vibe of being an loney explorer and keeps you immersed. The combat however, feels like an after thought. There are only around 4 boss battle and they are all bad or tedious... Random encounter feels like a chore. Dealing damage doesn't feel like you are doing damage. And it's not because your damage is low. There's just almost no feedback for doing damage on anything other than humanoid. Constantly I have to keep checking the boss hp just to confirm i'm actually progressing the fight. At the end of the game you get a copy of mgs4 last battle, but it's done much worst and didn't make me feel anything unlike in mgs4. This is one of those game that people who enjoy fidget spinner could love. If you have OCD and love inventory management, you probably won't find it tedious after a bong hit or two. It's a slow burn I needed to be stone to enjoy. Do i regret buying this game for $70? Almost. The scenery, the vibe, the loneliness and intrigue made it just barely worth it for me. Even though the story, intrigue and build up ended in a whiff. The scenery and vibe alone made all it's flaws somewhat presentable. Anyone giving this game a 9 or 10 is just not honest.

I used to hate this one the most until veilguard came out. Both origin and inquisition are 9/10 for me. I'm beginning to think every other dragon age game is cursed to be crap. I remember I was so disappointed when I realized the whole game's just gonna take place in a city. I hated it! Not having different environment like the first games just made it so boring. The game is also much shorter than both origin and inquisition. They should've made veilguard this short too, maybe then I'd have finished it. Just kiding... I'd die of cringe.

This game gets carried by its soundtrack. This game probably have one of the best soundtrack of all time. When I die, I'm gonna play one of the flute track at my funeral its that good! The story is also quite good, I never played the first 2 xenoblade so dont expect me to make a comparison. I always use FF10 as a base line to compare games' with good story. This game will make you feel more than FF10 I believe. What holds it back is the switch technology. This game could be much better if it weren't due to hardware limitations.

I guess I'm a bit bias being a fan of dragons age having played the first 3. I was very disappointed by Dragon age veilguard. Losing all the edge and realism of the first 3 games, veilguard feels like a parody made by family guy. I just can't believe how cringe they made this one... so cringe i can't take any of the cast or the story seriously. The dragon age lore origin in particular used to be on par with the likes of elder scroll. It is expansive, mysterious and intriguing. Making the art style cartoon completely ruined both immersion and the grim dark world of dragon age. Don't even get me started on Taash... I swear this character set back the LGBT movement by like 10 years. Why slap the LGBT sticker on the most annoying self-centered unlikable emo teenager... having a character like this is such a disservice for the LGBT community. Pushing so many people to the right side of politics. It just doesn't make sense just like the rest of this game.

This is hands down the worst fire emblem game ever made... the story is boring and not engaging at all! I truly don't know how anyone would rate this game highly unless they absolutely just love that form of strategic combat and nothing else. The character designs are also the worst the series has ever been. Many of them looks way too cartoonish to be in a game that takes its story seriously. The waifu quality has also dropped significantly, they look like they are designed and drawn by 12 year old. I have never played a fire emblem game where half way through I was so bored and detached from caring I stopped playing... haven't picked it up again for over a year now. Unicorn overlord is superior to this game in every way imaginable, so don't waste your time on this one.

After finishing expedition 33 I felt like comparing it to cyberpunk since both games are known to have very tragic story. The difference here is that expedition 33 fills you with hope and good feeling, while cyberpunk leaves you with nothing but a bad taste in your mouth. Both story hits you in the feel, but one actually makes you feel really good while being touched by its sadness, that being expedition 33. This has kinda ruined the cyberpunk's story for me as if it's written to be tragic for the sake of being tragic. I'm not saying I need a happy ending, but theres not a single ending that makes you feel good, nor does any of the ending hit you hard enough to shed tears like the ending of FF10. Instead of sadness, you just feel like sht.

This game feels like a combination of fire emblem and ambition of nobunaga. What it does well is it's pacing. You'll feel pretty motivated to play through out the game. It has a excellent cast of anime girls that'll scratch that fire emblem itch. I prefer the art style and the girls in this game quite a bit more than newer fire emblem titles. The story although one dimensional, it's neither great nor subpar. Not a big deal considering the gameplay is very engaging and fun. Yes, you can marry your followers in this game, but romance is not the focus, so don't expect anything more than a few unlockable conversations. The game runs out of steam a little near the end, as the story doesn't necessarily feel like it has any ups and downs after first three continent. It might get a little repetitive for you. Overall I enjoyed this game more than fire emblem three houses and way more than fire emblem engaged. The huge roster of beautiful followers drawn artistically and the fun battle system makes it stand out among other games of it's genre.

ZZZ is one of the better gacha games but thats not saying much. It does a few things exceptionally well while rest of it is subpar at best. The focus revolves around combat and character models. What you get is very attractive female models that's rigged to be exceptionally flexible and expressive. This makes the combat very flashy, active and stylish, with lots of sexy poses. Unfortunately rest of this game feels very dated, the world especially. Every none combat zones in this game feels small and tight, full of invisibile walls that leaves you feeling of claustrophobia. The combat zones are not much better with exception of very few end game boss arena. The only way to travel between each tight zone is by teleporting... This makes the game feels like a combat simulator. Just pick your team of waifus then pick your arena and you fight. If you are expecting anything more you gonna be disappointed. Because outside of combat, the world feels boring, small, with nothing to do. The story is mostly bad with the only saving grace being an epic cutscene at the end of every patch. The music is not bad nor memorable. Time investment required to have fun is relatively low compared to other gacha titles which is a good thing. Yes this game is carried by its female fighters, their range of motion and jiggle physics. And because it's a gacha game, the whole game revolves around making you want to spend a ton of money to get those characters.

Wuthering waves has improved significantly since launch. It's almost a different game now. Starting 2.0, the story and graphic has become triple A quality with quite of bit of hype, immersive world building and excellent story telling. The game is open world and absolutly beautiful, and the exploration is amazing and greatly enhance by the added ability to fly. The combat is one of the best in the 3rd person action genre, and you can pretty much overcome everything with skill alone. The time investment required for this game is also relatively low compared to most gacha titles. The developer are very responsive to critisim and fixes issues quickly. Even with all the praise, however I cannot give this game a score higher than 8 because it makes me want to spend hundreds of dollars on it... And I think we can all agree, micro-transactions are cringe.

Only thing impressed me in this game is the foliage. The graphic is quite good on ps5 pro. However, rest of this game is straight up terrible. The story is really bad... I give it a 0/10 in term of immersion. The world building here is just not immersive at all and doesn't feel at all realistic. The story is filled with woke ideology. I dont even hate woke, it's just done way too cringly. Every dude in this game is either soy, dumb or evil. Not a single respectable man in sight, while every women on the other hand are either strong, smart or both. But they are still women so they'll randomly have emotional outburst that'll overule all logic. Every villains' white and every good npc is black... Aloy is very cringe in this one. All logic are overuled by her emotion, she'll just do what she want like a immature child no matter if it makes sense or not. This makes her very unlikable. Most dialogs are cringe with the exception of the comic relief character who is the only person I didn't hate in this game... is the game fun at least? Barely... combat is just like horizon zero dawn with pretty much zero innovation. It gets repetitive fast, but it's still the 2nd best part of this game since the rest of this game is so bad... I tried really hard to finish this game, but its just so damn boring I ended up giving up and quitting before finishing the DLC. It was such a chore to play! The ending i also terrible... Its just sequel bait that no one wanted nor cares. You will have more fun looking at foliage in this game than anything else this game has to offer. Therefore I give this game 1 point for foliage and 1 point for it's bow combat. 2/10 still terrible tho.

Made an acct just to leave this review. Words can hardly describe the feeling of playing this game! It's a deeply sad story however instead of making you feel down, it engage and fills you with hope, intrigue, leaving you wanting more. Although the story is not perfect, twist and reveal often revolve around characters not bringing up questions that you would've definitely asked if you were there. However I didn't mind not having exposition, since everything is shown with so many clues sprinkled all over from the beginning that will only make sense once you reach act 3. You will not be able to guess what will happen. I would give the story a 9. Whats truly exceptional about this game is the overall experience and the feeling this game leaves you. This game is art. The gameplay is truly engaging and exceptionally fun. It doesnt frustrate you with any bs mechanics. Learning the moves of each boss fight is just like elden ring but even more rewarding and not nearly as frustrating. The graphic is uniquely beautiful. The music is absolute cinema and fits the story and combat perfectly. This is one of those game that makes you not wanting to go to bed. I can't even think of a title that has ever given me an overall experience this good. Sure there are games that does story better like ff14, but almost none is on par overall. As the experience of playing expedition 33 is elevated significantly by how each element compliments each other, immerse you into this world like no other. This is the only turn base game that I don't feel repetitive playing even after 50 hours. Thinking back, the last game that gave me similar feeling of enjoyment is God of war ragnorok, but expedition 33 is even better at making me feel good. This is hands down the best game in its genre. It deserves all the praise and more. Game of the year no competition.
