A classic Microsoft game. The game is good, but it's no different from the older games in the series.

it's one of the most games than are really nice advance, the mecanics are really great, the history is fantastic and when I play with a xbox, is how if the game is a revolution and I'm in another world, one of the better games from xbox

Great game, it really brought back what made gears great after Judgment. The new characters are good except for Del, just a token black dude basically not a very logical character type for the group. Combat is extremely smooth, everything is smoothed out and flows nicely. The process to bring the locus back reminds me of resistance from the PS3 days, great logic in that process. I'm bringing the game to an 8 because the story is good, combat is great, but the new characters besides James are a little weird and too positive for what the world is. Gears is more **** dark universe so some of them do not fit the best.

Esperaba más de la campaña, sus dialogos son en su mayoría sozos, aburridos y cringe, mientras que la campaña es corta pero entretenida pues se siente más como una intro u prologo para lo que tenían en mente para futuro, los gráficos y mapeado un 10/10 y pues no logre probar el multijugador ya que nunca a sido de mi interés pese a lo entretenido y adictivo que es el MJ de Gears

Ganska bra spel. Det börjar ju såklart bli lite repetitive när spelen handlar om precis samma sak varje gång. Jag tycker dock att dem gjorde boss fighter mycket roligare och bättre. Grafikmässigt är det ju såklart ett superstort hopp grån Gears 3 eftersom det är på en helt ny konsol.

Not sure if I should blame the acting , the writing, or both. The new Characters are not really fitting into the world for me

coop ve online uğruna harcanmış bi potansiyel. oyunun son çeyreği tamamen kendini tekrar ediyor ve orijinal gears of war formülünden çıkılmış. yine de 2025te bile oynaması aşırı zevkli bir oyun. vurmak güzel kontroller güzel grafikler ve tasarım güzel ama son çeyrekteki tekrar (ki son çeyreğe 3-4 yeni düşman tipi ve 2 yeni mekan ekleseler seriye yakışan bir oyun olurdu. oyun güzel ama potansiyeli boşa harcanmış.

The first three parts of the game are pretty good. There's a clear graphical evolution, and the horde system is well-introduced. The worst part is the last chapter, but I don't want to kill the entire game because of it. The characters' personalities are a clear downgrade compared to the trilogy.

Nice new stories and gameplay but it feels like not having new sensation of gaming

The story of Gears 4 is in the tradition of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens". It's about the next generation of COG soldiers led by the son of Marcus Fenix; J.D. The game looks terrific and is great fun, but doesn't have the innovation of the original trilogy. It's an improvement over "Gears of War: Judgment", but doesn't feel as evolved as it should be. This isn't a masterpiece like "Uncharted 4" or "Resident Evil 4". I would rate it with an 8.4 out of 10

I have played through this game twice and it just doesn't feel like Gears of War to me but during my second playthrough I realized something that helped me understand why I dislike this game it feels like a PG13 Gears of War I know it's not rated PG13 but it feels like it to me especially when compared to the previous games making this a very unsatisfying game to play

I mean.. what can i say. It's a Gears of war game as far as i know. The graphics are good, probably my favourite of the post Gears 4 gears of war, but the graphics aren't really enough. The story is justnot good, like really not good. I was really bored and didnt want to continue playing it, it felt like it had nothing new. But, being THE NUMBER ONE GEARS FAN i did. I't didnt get me.Definetly worst game of the series

I love this series and I especially adore the original, but I never felt like any of the sequels were able to really recapture the magic of the first one, until now. Gears 1 was special because it wasn't just action, it had tension and atmosphere and even leaned a little into horror from time to time, but every Gears games since has been just balls to the wall craziness. That isn't necessarily bad but the pacing was exhausting and a little bit vanilla - Now finally this 4th entry has regained some of that subtlety and restraint that helped to make the series so amazing. There's plenty of action and some of the setpieces are wild, but in between there are moments of ominous silence, environments oozing with tension, and a couple straight up horror moments. The plot's always been just kinda meh for me personally, but the jump in graphical performance and sound design further heightens the tone and really makes some of the storytelling memorable. My only true complaint is the cover system, even in this newer installment the game never understands when you want to run and when you want to hide because it's the same freaking button. But that's a very minor nitpick, and overall I was so impressed that I almost liked this 4th entry as much as the first game, but not quite.

Going back to it , i enjoyed it more than gears 5. Not a fan of open world In gears 5 . But i wish they would add more to the sand box . Fun easy play in 2024.

The gameplay is terrible and the camera is even worse it constantly bobs left and right every step you take it gave me literally nausea and I had to stop playing not that it's a game you want to play anyway.

Gears 4 no es un mal juego; sin embargo, creo que su historia no sabe a gears of war y creo que a JD le falta carácter para ser el protagonista de un juego de GOW.

Personagens sem carisma algum, não entendo o motivo de tirarem Marcus Fênix do protagonismo. Ao menos o fim da campanha trouxe a nostalgia e melhorou a experiência.

Tiene un gran comienzo en el que ofrece novedades, como enemigos nunca antes vistos o las oleadas, que dejaban entrever un cambio en la saga. Pues nada, a partir de la mitad del juego se convierte en más de lo mismo, con los locust ofreciendo tiroteos con coberturas una y otra vez. Una lástima, porque la saga es monótona hasta cansar. No hablaré del nulo carisma de los personajes.

GoW4 was really fun...i think Gears of War series was 1 of the pearl of the Xbox 360 games. Undisputed winner only after Halo.

This game is no as bad as people said. True, it is not as dark and damp ad the first trilogy, but I like the new colorful aesthetics. This game is better than number 5.

Um ótimo jogo com gráficos lindos, eu acho que o que mais me chama atenção são seus cenários absurdamente lindos, todas as paisagens são ótimas de se admirar, fora o multiplayer que me rendeu muitas horas de diversão.

not much to say about the campaign, wich is the reviews is about really boring campaign with minimale mechanics, The game looks great, but a boring story will also not fix that, ending was good, but 5 hours of boring gameplay with 1 hour of fun is not worth it

This was my first Gears game and I really loved it, the sorry was very sad and at some points, I almost cried especially at the end. Pros: Great story Great visuals Good gameplay Cons: Fights are very repetitive and get boring

This game is perfect in every way but for 20 dollars is 9 hours terrible. The game play is good but for 9 hours? The story isnt that intriguing that i would pay 20 dollars for that. The game is very good and graphics are also pritty good. I had a lot of ammo trouble to the point that i would rage quit for 2 days and then come back and fail again on easy difficulty.

Dificultad artificial la cual se basa en enemigos esponjas de daño en espacios cerrados mientras te atacan enemigos aleatorios (esto refiriendome a la maxima dificultar) El modo horda es bueno, pero los enemigos siguen siendo mas que algo que debes planear como enfrentar solo esponjas de daño las cuales se limitan a estar parados disparando directamente confaidos en que ganaran ya que recisten hasta 12 segundos de daño consecutivo sin parar. La unca "tactica" que te incentiva a cambiar de cobertura como en anteriores entregas de la saga es que los enemigos se lanzan cual Kamikase hacia ti resistiendo todo el daño para luego eliminarte de un solo golpe, todo esto un tiempo aproximado de 0.5 a 3 segundos, siendo una jugabilidad injusta a menos de que lo juegues en las minimas dificultades. Teniendo mas protagonismo la suerte de que las balas no te den a tu capacidad para resolver problemas en situaciones apremiantes. Por otro lado los protagonistas carecen de alma o carisma a especion de un par de secundarios, y el diseño de los enemigos es muy bueno visualmente, pero esto no puede zolapar el pesimo gameplay que han creado.

This is an amazing game and one of the best of the generation. Graphically it looks just as good if not better than many next Gen games. Story wise is amazing. The story is fun and focuses on new characters that I enjoyed and loved as well as giving you great nostalgia with old characters. The gameplay is the best the series has ever had which is saying something as gears is widely considered one of the best playing third person shooters out there. It’s a fun game with a great story and great characters, it’s also super funny. If you have game pass playing this along with the other gears games is a no brainer. If you have a Xbox and have been on the fence about gears 4, I say do it! You won’t regret it! This game is clearly getting review bombed by PlayStation fans. The Xbox store has it at a 4.5/5 stars. Critics also loved it. This game is criminally overlooked. Do not let biased reviews misinform you.

GoW in general is very nostalgic for me, especially GoW2. Sadly, for me that is, I still have lag to annoy me in GoW4, however there are different pros and cons this time. - Story Mode Most lame GoW story, with the exception of GoW5 with the "POLITICAL MESSAGE". I honesty didn't hate nor liked it. It's flat. Much like its characters. Much like its "new enemies" but with no variety. The main issue is that the developers had no clue how to make GoW again, since the Locust were defeated. So instead making different enemies (like DB-Robots vs GOG), the tried to half ass their way to create a "new war" with the Swarm. Now, the swarm, have barely no explanation for their existence and the game doesn't even at least display difference from the Locust. They all go with skirts with shotguns screaming "human" instead of "ground walker". There's literally nothing. Even the enemy that holds the Bow has no unique look to him. Just a skirt and a hoodie. The main "new" characters are .. K, I guess. Kait looks cute (and in 5 looks like a ****) JD Fenix is really bland and doesn't represent the GoW theme. And Del.... is Finn for the new Star wars. I have nothing to say, just play story once and leave it there. - Versus Sweaty, Snarky and lots of old school MLG culture. It's amazing how Halo, who once was flooded with the MLG culture, is now filled with a different community (for the better), but Gears kept both it's original audience + Esports culture. I couldn't become an expect Gears play, since the Shotgun meta essentially revolved around connection speed and too much sweat. Back in Gears 2 + 3, I just rocked the HammerBurst. Now, since the sweaty community remained unlike the rest of us, the Hammerburst was removed from the default weapons category, and went back to be a power weapon. The power of the community man.... it's something - Horde (the reason why I still play this) Gears 2's horde was... whatever Gears 3's horde was in the right direction And 4 just brings a whole new way to play Gears4 with the classes and fortification. I honestly wish I could have my own premade team for harder difficulties of Horde, but I'm old now. But It's fine, since I can play Normal mode casually and have my 2 hours fun. The only issue is really with the playbase for horde, when total noobs join in, or mid quitters quit in the first rounds, it really **** and when everybody leaves it's just no fun at all. If you have a friend, and one that is good at playing Gears, play split screen, it's hella fun. Summary: Gears 4 has it's different pros and cons, which are different from the other classic gears games. It has the best horde mode from the 5 that have It has an OK versus being dedicated to the OG fans And it has a story mode.... which it's FLAT Get in Xbox Game pass.

Pior Gears que joguei. Protagonista bem chato, tanto quanto a história. Salvo pelo enredo da Kait, porquê o resto é bem precário. O início e meio são bem chatos em todos aspectos, o final melhora. O ponto forte desse jogo é os ambientes e só.

Jogo fantástico com gráficos excepcionais para época, e detalhe não envelheceu nada, o final monstruoso de bom...

Campaing is too short. Good graphics. same gears formula as the 360 games.
