I primi 2 sono molto di più di semplici giochi sono la presa di forma di un genere e dei giochi che a distanza di 30 anni sono stupendi certo sentono gli acciacchi degli anni ma nulla che possa compromettere in maniera significativa questi titoli. 8.9/10

One of the worst, if not the worst, remaster in video game history. Only Nightdive Studios could embarrass themselves like that.

Stop killing games by your garbage remasters. It's literally unplayable and unenjoyable.

Garbage remaster. It's not even close to the original. It looks like some strange unity port rather than actual re-release.

Great release of Doom classics and expansions to revive one of the most influential game in the FPS sector. Talking about the port, it's a great work of refining and quality of life improving in game like interactive dynamic map, texture mapping and weapon particles, and technically speaking (you can easily lose yourself in the menu and options switching for graphics, music, sound, controls etc.)
On a gamewise talk, Doom still hold fantastically it's years, simplicity without being easy. No hint given you'll learn the hard way to manage ammo, find secrets, fight enemies, with a rather decent dedication to it. The cons are: Doom II, well pretty much everything to it. The design of levels, enemy placement, ammo count will constantly put you in difficulty. And the addition of 'joke' levels like a running away from a domino of exploding barrels, doesn't help this chaotic chapter. Play it, skip it and move to some DLC inside this great compilation. Multiplayer included, not tested.

I think doom still holds up to this day and is still amazing. Same for most of this collection. However, the classic style of text visually glitches and looks bad.

This review is mainly grading the new expansion, Legacy of Rust. This was a fantastic addition to the Doom franchise and spiced things up enough that it actually felt like a brand new game. With this we got the new flame-based weapons, the Incinerator and Calamity Blade (which replace the plasma rifle and BFG respectively, with fuel replacing energy cells for ammo). I prefer the plasma rifle over the incinerator which deals friendly fire at close range, but the calamity blade is my new favorite toy that outclasses the BFG in every way, especially due to the ability to charge it wide enough to wipe out whole arenas. The new monsters are a welcome addition. I enjoy fighting them more than the monsters introduced in Doom II for the most part. Most of the levels are very fun to play minus a couple very frustrating ones. And lastly, the music is a retro-filled delight that reminds me of some of the great 16-bit era games I played growing up. As for the rest of the games in this compilation, they play just as we remember them, complete with remixed soundtracks, accessibility features and modifiers - but with some minor graphical clipping along the way.
