Death Relives
Death Relives quickly lost the interest of this horror fan. Though it’s built upon a strong concept, the concept alone is not strong enough to carry other aspects of the game that fail to fit into its genre or generally excite. While I wouldn’t call Death Relives a winner, I eagerly look towards what comes next from this studio and to see if they learn from the mistakes of their first title.
Death Relives is the kind of game that makes you question your life choices because of the slow drain of wasted time. Its ambition is buried under poor execution, lifeless AI integration, and half-formed mechanics. Even its better ideas, like the puzzles, are let down by clunky design. There’s simply nothing here worth your time, money, or patience.
A unique "What if?" story based on Aztec mythology turns into a truly different experience when combined with a horror theme - that is, as long as the game doesn’t crash.

Achei muito atraente, a ambientação que que lembra muito a civilização Asteca, gostei da pegada, está faltando mais jogos nessa linha.

I have never seen such a work in my life intertwined with horror games. Every minute I spent in the game, I felt the fear and tension in the back of my neck. It is impossible not to see the effort. A perfect game is almost a masterpiece.

Death Relives has a lot of interesting ideas, especially for a local production. The development team has taken on an intriguing story rooted in a different culture, crafted an effective atmosphere, and delivered a polished product with clever touches reminiscent of a mobile app. However, frequent crashes, poor animation quality, low-resolution textures on some models, and, most importantly, the game's reliance on a “run and hide” mechanic throughout its entirety undermine these significant strengths.

Death Relives stands out with its atmosphere and focus on Aztec mythology. The story is engaging from start to finish, and the enemy designs are truly impressive. The presence of Xipe Totec keeps the tension high throughout the game. The level design and lighting are also quite well done. However, I did encounter some technical issues. Enemy AI can be inconsistent at times. Some puzzles are too easy, while others feel a bit meaningless. The developers mentioned that these issues have been addressed with updates—if the gameplay is now smoother and those problems are resolved, I can say it’s a very satisfying experience overall. For those looking for something different in the horror genre, it’s definitely worth trying. Despite its flaws, it delivers a truly unforgettable atmosphere.

Dont believe good reviews they are from dev, family, bots and paid reviewers. Even free even watch it on utube not worth it. - 4 hours annoying boring long. -very very repetitive expensive unpolished short bad not scary 1st person horror stealth unfun game, annoying glitches, frame drops, bad unfun gameplay, ai pictures, ai voice acting, ai music, feels like flip assets, bad annoying QTE loool even hide QTE even save QTE, half of game hide in closet from enemy QTE fest simulator, bad level design, advice of me if u buyed play easy mode, enemy ripoff from re franchise like nemesis and Mr X. -buy outlast or resident evil 2 remake instead.
