Although based on the AoE formula, enough new gameplay ideas to keep the jaded real-time strategy gamer and history buff alike playing for a good long time to come. If you have the patience and time, I suggest you check out this game.

Казаки: Европейские войны — историческая стратегия в реальном времени. Первая игра серии Cossacks, не помню начинал ли знакомство с нее, или с других аддонов 1 казаков. Но в любом случая я играл много именно в Back to war. Тут же когда начал играть, собственно решил пройти кампанию, мне она не давала покоя еще в Back to war, ибо был мелким и она мне не поддавалась, тут же представлены 4 кампании, англ, фран, украин и русская, все по разному не плохие, я получил удовольствие от прохождение, если бы не 2 обстоятельства, это просто ужасная работа на современных система, пробовал другие версии, все одно, ну может быть еще гог версию не пробовал. Эта ситуация, мне даже напомнила как я пытался играть в нее давно, и она меня отпугнула именно вылетами, их тут очень много. Это было на 7, а щас на 10, на XP вроде не играл, может там дела обстоят лучше, надеюсь ибо продукт не приятен, и даже случайные карты генерятся с ошибками, просто ужас Через много вылетов, я даже заметил закономерность, когда камера смотрит на какой то объект на карте, происходит вылет, если быть осторожным и обходить такие участки, конечно же сейвится) автосохранение есть, но чаще бы) Или играть по карте) Симулятор штаба какой то. Вообщем я каким то чудом прошел всю игру, она съела мои нервы, мне пришлось отдохнуть от нее месяца 4 чтоб закрыть) Вообщем игра может и хорошая, но тех состояние ужасное. Если вы хотите в битвы то ваш выбор Cossacks:Back to War Пройти кампании? ДЛС Cossacks:Campaign Expansion для Cossacks:Back to War Знал бы не мучался) Ну и да русского в игре нет, придется ставить русификатор Знал бы не мучался) А вот одиночные миссии, я не нашел в паке выше, так что пришлось помучатся чтоб их пройти.

The addition of numerous scenarios and awesome graphics make this game one of the year's best. I recommend that you purchase this game and get playing online for some of the best multiplayer action to hit the RTS genre in a long time.

Some will like the increased complexity and find all they need in this game, while others might get lost in the multitude of stats, units and options and simply give the whole thing a miss.

Though rich with a variety of units and resources, European Wars simply doesn’t have the polish needed to put it on the frontlines in the genre.

The resources might have been ripped off from "Settlers," but they're perfectly balanced and you get a genuine sense of achievement as you build a thriving town from a few sticks and a couple of peasants.

I remember this masterpiece. Units were so detailed. Building the city and consequent battle seemed so delightful.

PROS-- Massive maps, up to 8000 units! Awesome skirmish battles, replay ability is great (still playing in 2015), fun single player missions, unit variety and technology upgrades add nice depth. CONS-- Bugs like troops getting stuck in terrain or going walkabouts, can be frustrating. Classic RTS, so much fun!

17-18th century warfare, base building, good graphics for it's time, good but hard campaigns, for example the Russian campaign where Russia it let's you play as evolves from a backwater state into an European superpower but I feel the last mission wasn't that good, then again maybe the developers had the multiplayer in mind which does indeed seem to be the case since you have multiplayer only historical missions/battles, which is a shame since I never really got to play and experience them all because of that. Each nation has it's own architecture and unique units, you also have naval warfare, but most of all the game allows you to play it as you want. If you like small scale battles you can play without peace time and try to defeat your enemy fast, but you can also build up thousand of troops, compared to most RTS games where you build squad sized units. A great game for it's time and even years after.
