(I started by playing 'Borderlands 2' and I just finished 'Borderlands' (the first) main story recently.) Definitely an awesome game. Voice acting is perfect even in other languages (I played it in french). Graphics and colours are amazing. Main add-on's are great if they bring more story content. Overall customization is cool: you have access to a lot of different weapons. Humor is so insane that is sometimes feels like there are more jokes in the game than actual bullets. Bosses are as badass and truly impressive as your in-game allies. Multiplayer mode is great (but was already there in Borderlands the first). It's wierd, location names are not translated while characters names are. I often had trouble trying to locate myself. Locations names appear to be long and sometimes inappropriate. Main story is quite short (hopefully major add-on's are here to extend it). Speaking of add-on's: what is the matter with them? How can you reach such an impressive number of indecent content? I mean there are 48 add-on's in addition to the main game, including one of the most useless Season Pass of the whole video-gaming history. Withouth any special offer the whole package costs 45€! Unbelievable. Game astonishingly requires a lot time to launch. Once you got through all the surprise glitters of the game you will soon realize that gameplay quickly becomes repetitive and especially after finishing the main story. Dying is really punitive: you can litterally ruin yourself by trying to defeat the same boss four or five times in a row. In adition to that the game sometimes is cruelly unbalanced: you can fight against creatures of level 10 and just after against bosses of level 50 that crush you with a single blow without warning. Maps are unnecessarily and foolishly huge. Sometimes you can't bring your vehicule and so are forced to walk by foot for ridiculously long distances. Hopefully these maps are full of low-levels creatures that will surely come commit suicide on your guns.

So this one includes 4 Expansion packs, 2 new playable characters, and other stuff. I really enjoy the series, and loved all 4 extra compains (especially Tiny Tina's Fantasy Adventure). The only minus about the game to me is the lack of replayability - at the very core, every character has one unique skill, while all the other stats u can up while leveling your skill tree - are pretty much just statistical parameters (such as accuracy, reload speed, etc) which dont change from character to character. So in essence, what is the point of replaying the compaign with the same character if you cannot give him any unique skill except the originally prescribed one? I wish there were more unique skills in trees of various characters, so i can make my Siren invisible during one playthrough, and concentrate on making her phase granades with sniper precision during another playthrough. FUN!
