Black Myth Wukung is a game well designed with beatifull maps and graphics however its a slow pace game I think the story its amazing but starts way to up front. I think they should have made it shorter starting the amazing story right from the beginning. Because of its longiness its hard to enjoy the game when you have limited resources, of course you can go back and farm them but a game were you just wanna go to the next map and explorate new regions and tipes of enimies should have a better resources system. Also because its too long makes the game very repetitive.

Good variety of bosses but most of them are throwaways. Combat is ok, its gets very repetitive because of the lack of builds or weapon variety. You will be playing the game the same way you started, the combat progression is not good. Story and Music are good but the gameplay and level design holds it back quite a bit.

One of the best action games I have ever played. The mythology and story are so cool. The gameplay is tight, engaging, and fun. The power progression rewards exploration which I LOVE even if the exploration feels on the rails at times in a somewhat limited open world.

C’est pas compliqué c’est le pire gameplay de tout les souls quand ont gagne c’est du au hasard quand ont perd pareil, il n’y a pas de parade dans un jeu qui est fait pour ça bref un vrai scandale ne vous faites pas avoir je l’ai payé 70€ et je serais prêt à accepter 10€ de remboursement car impossible d’y jouer 10m sans bailler

I'm 33 year old and playing since i was 8. This is the best game i've played. The mechanics, the story, the way story was told, the way you progress through it. I hope this studio can continue delivering. I wish you very best. Milisav, Belgrade,Serbia.

Overated game, it has interesting story elements and the characters are good but it mostly just boils down to a big long line of bosses and mini bosses like a boss rush. 70% of the bosses and enemies have annoying problem with instant attacks you can only dodge after you've been hit once, visuals that become blinding light shows, attacks that hit faster than you can dodge a second time, terrible hotboxes on the attacks, unresponsive controls dodges and drinking the gord won't work sometimes even when I'm not doing anything else, and some bosses and enemies moving faster than the camera can track. ...just lots of problems that hinder the experience it's still a solid game 7/10, but it never deserved to be nominated for game of the year.

I have played over 15 hours of this game, it is amazing, has pros and cons,Pros:It is hybrid souls-like game with linear progression, easier, but challenging boss fight, you need to learn enemies attack to be able to defeat themHas the same bonfire style and travelling system but you do not lose souls Bosses’ design and character are great Great animation and fighting **** world and landscape are so realistic and beautifully designed to serve the game purpose. The particle system and such as sand snow increases the realistic feeling of the game The gameplay is impressive and innovative,Impressive Cutscenes Cons:discovery of the linear world is all about boss fight, although the world is beautiful but the fighting is prevailing the interest of reaching new places.World is not so interactive with characterskill tree is little complicated and could be simpler. Only one weapon stick is available with upgrading options,Another frustrating this is the limitation of the paths and routes that does not allow you to climb and pass through certain locations, making the area restricted and looks like there is unseen wall preventing you from passing through particular areas, should have delt with in better way.

Wukong features vastly superior, more fluid combat than Elden Ring, its boss fights are noticeably easier and more forgiving. It completely trades a massive, seamless open world for a structured, semi-linear chapter format.

ce jeu n'est qu'une petite copie raté de ce genre de jeu. il y a des énormes problèmes de murs invisibles partout ce qui rend l'exploration frustrante et inintéressante. Les combats sont à la fois médiocres répétitifs et illisibles dans certains cas.

8/10 from users and pros is incredible accurate. This is an excellent game and I really cannot wait for any sequel because the places where this game fall short would easily be fixed in a sequel, but this critical review is to help Wukong 2 be a 10/10 game, which it has potential to be. The gameplay and bosses are the game's strong point, however the build crafting in this game falls completely short, making the user feel like ive they explored most builds half-way through the game. Almost all equippable items beyond weapons feel like they have less impact than they should. The Spark skill tree needs the most work as you can mostly finish the skill tree for any build before half of the game is over. Do you like a light attack build with some good combos? Well, you will have full-access to this entire branch of the skill tree before the end of Act I. Another issue is that the starting spells that you get in chapter 1, aside from transformations, are the best in the game. The other spells either make little sense or arent real spells at all. Like one of 3 late game alteration spells is just a stat buff after locking your other spells. That's not creative. The second issue with this game is that the world is so beautiful and itching to be explored because exploration rewards players with items, but the game also has some of the most vague and unclear invisible walls out of any game ive ever seen. [spoilers of last chapter] In the final chapter, you are finally given the nimbus cloud that lets wukong fly everywhere! you jump on the cloud and see this huge map, waiting to be explored! The only issue is that 95% of this map is EMPTY! and by empty i mean that there arent even any trash mobs. it's literally empty aside from a few bosses! What letdown for a climax! Since the devs know that Wukong is an international success, i would encourage them to improve their story-telling as no amount of 'but this is a historical chinese story' will change the fact that the delivery of the story is often confusing, unconnected with huge gaps in the plot. At the end of one chapter, i beat the boss and the next chapter, i am somehow in a cage with absolutely zero explanation. "Journey to the West" most definitely did not skimp on explaining this point, so i will hold the devs to the same standard. The voice acting and cutscenes are beautiful, and the action is really 9/10 aside from its progression issue. Anyway, when these points are fixed, i believe Wukong 2 could be a 10/10.

This is the worst game ever played, pure garbage, completely unchanged. You can't do anything with your spells or get injured by your attacks; it's useless. You win the game if you can save your spells at the right time, stay in place, and escape at the right time. The level designs are terrible, completely focused on boss fights, offering no depth whatsoever. Chinese game production has gone too far; it's a massive bubble.

Black Myth: Wukong was an amazing experience from start to finish. The boss fights were easily the highlight of the game — intense, cinematic, and genuinely satisfying to beat. Every major fight felt unique and pushed you to actually learn the mechanics instead of just button mashing. The combat system is incredibly fun and smooth. The fighting mechanics feel responsive, flashy, and rewarding, especially once you start chaining abilities and transformations together. I loved how action-packed the game felt almost the entire time. Visually the game is stunning too, with great environments and enemy designs that made every area exciting to explore. If you enjoy fast-paced action games with challenging bosses and satisfying combat, this game absolutely delivers.

Black Myth: Wukong me ha encantado. La dificultad es perfecta, ni muy difícil ni muy fácil, y tanto los enemigos como los escenarios son muy variados. El capítulo 4 ha sido mi favorito por su ambientación y diseño. Como puntos negativos, creo que algunas partes de la historia podrían haberse explicado mejor y que la OST podría haber tenido canciones más memorables.

Beautiful animations, both in game engine and the masterfully done hand animated sequences at the end of every chapter. The fights are hard but not unfair and easily learn able, especially if you are used to from-soft games. Beautiful soundtrack and a pretty unique combat play style with the many stances and transformation.

1 - Bad graphics, lag, full of missing places 2- Every boss fights like Jesus, you cant do anything, you cant counter, you just need to play 5-10 per boss so you can pass it luckly but not because of your skills 3- Final boss its GOD, you dont have any change even he is at 1 hp Very dissapointed about the game i was not expacting this

One of the most worst games to ever play. Cruel bosses where u have no clue whats so ever. People play games for enjoyment not stress. Do not play this game if u want good experience.

Um dos melhores jogos que já joguei. Gráficos excelentes, jogabilidade, o nível de desafio, mecânicas de progressão e a história que te deixa com vontade de ler toda a jornada para o novo oeste.

An absolute dumbsterfire. Not only it has horrible performance problems, the gameplay is a slog, maps are empty, filled with STORE ASSETS and graphically uninspired and boring looking game. There's no redeeming qualities, an average at best story fused with unreal garbage graphics and ripetitive damage spunge bosses. An assetflip with a pricetag of a AAA game is a joke

There's no sense of impact and it's just boring. The graphics are the only good thing about it... I have no idea why it got such high scores

Insane lore and chara design, but combat gameplay too messy/limited/not well balanced, mediocre plot with no presentation or good setup until the last chapter, the story could have been more interesting if it was well brought

I was so excited for this game, I love mythology and Eastern culture, art etc. What a wasted opportunity, I probably didn’t do myself a favour by playing Ghost of Tsushima right before it. This could have been an epic adventure game, instead it is a very pretty button bashing combat game. The tedium started after just 40 mins of gameplay! Unless learning button sequences and drawn out combat games are your thing, I would avoid like the plague, all very polished but lacking gameplay appeal.

a great game but i got abit tired of the boss rushing towards the end. HOWEVER some of these bosses are just really really good and as a chinese this was like a must play game for me. I really liked the effort put to expand the lore as i found myself reading it constantly and looking for more lore bits. gameplay design is quite good and very actiony and i quite liked the stance mechanics as well as the world design and scale

The combat system is overwhelmingly terrible, with no complexity and over the top animations that make the game less about combat, and more about being locked into animations where your opponents beat you up. Not worth the price tag, by far.

Black is a great game as a great story great level design great bosses the bosses in this game are extraordinary. I’ve never seen a game with such a diverse number of bosses with high-quality.

Black Myth Wukong has high highs and, unfortunately, low lows. The setting, story/characters, and art design are truly one of a kind and I could not get enough of them. The music videos at the end of each chapter were my favorite part of the game. The staff stances and free re-specs made for easy, on the fly build variety. Chapters 1 and 6, and most of 5, provided fun and challenging fights that I genuinely had to learn the boss movesets to beat. Chapters 2-4 were so easy that I did not die in combat more than a handful of times across all THREE of these chapters. The bosses did not do enough damage and their attacks never punished you for healing or spamming attacks. I nearly gave up on the game after chapter 3 due to the combat's stagnation but I am glad I persevered because chapters 5 and 6 had some incredible fights. Overall, a fun experience in a novel setting. Hoping for more thoughtful combat and boss OSTs in the sequel.

Best game I've played in a long time, enjoyable gameplay, I only encountered 2 bugs in 70 hours of play, fantastic graphics, Ubisoft should do an internship there.

A cada 5 passos 1 boss, muito o jogo em si so se resume a porrada, em si achei um pouco interessante, animações legais e visuais interessantes de resto não é so mais um souls like mal optimizado...

Jeu incroyable, Histoire prenante inspiré de la mythologie chinoise, gameplay innovant avec ce système d'âme et de transformation ajoutant du divertissement aux combats. Les builds et les équipements sont très bien pensé. Je recommande ce jeu aux personnes aimant les combats épiques et folklorique avec une bonne touche de difficulté.

Отчаянная попытка в souls like от китайцев, который сорвал просто нереальный хайп на выходе и стал одним из открытий 2024 года, многие посчитали её игрой года. Боёвка прикольная, не такая пиздатая как sekiro, тут нет такого понятия как блокировка/парирование удара по таймингу, но таймингов тут много, я бы сказал толково в целом выполнена, много необычных фишек ранее не виданных мной в жанре. Графика очень крутая, визуально это одна из самых красивых игр, но только если вы нормально относитесь к азиатской архитектуре и эстетике, иначе вам не понравится, вся игра на 120% пропитана конкретно китайской культурой. Это очень большая проблема если ты не ебучий профессор востоковед, потому что для человека европейской культуры вообще не понятно, что происходит - кто эти люди? причем тут говорящий скуф кабан? А очень хочется узнать. Причем в игре есть энциклопедия, но в ней ровно 0 информации которой хочется узнать, ни про самого Вуконга, ни про других персонажей, ни про смысл происходящего. Насколько я понимаю всё происходящее для китайцев это нечто обыденное, как для нас истории про бабу Ягу, но для нас это всё выглядит как рандомная поебень, и сюжета с диалогами тут много, и к сожалению это всё в пустую. Вся игра очень коридорная, по сути передвигаешься по коридору от одного босса к другому, левелдизайн поэтому очень элементарный, т.е. вообще не уровень dark souls. Боссов тут много, я часто слышал, что игра чрезмерно сложная, но в игре по итогу 2-3 сложных босса буквально, многие бы посчитали это большим недостатком. Разнообразия оружия, брони и билдов в игре по сути нет, следовало бы ожидать выверенного баланса, но видимо разработчики намеренно сделали игру простой. Это хорошая игра, если вас не трясёт от азиатской культуры и вы любите souls like, то играйте обязательно, но она могла быть ещё лучше во многих аспектах – 7,5/10.

amazing game with so much content. visuals are amazing and combat is pretty good. some bosses are NOT well designed tho sadly and couldve been a bit better. overall an amazing game definitley game of the year.

This is the worst game ever. Upgrading your character is boarung and un rewarding, spent time to add all defence perks yet still see little to no change, same with all upgrades its like they numbers mean nothing, Its just like a tekken game one boss after another doesnt build up to these random characters just 1 boring frustratingly fight after another. You are blocked from accessing clear paths then allowed down others which makes the very little exploring you do irritating. AVOID BUYING ITS NO FUN

If you like a lot boss fights then this is the game for you. Story was boring for me and the combat style also after a while. Its not a bad game but there are better games to play

Die Aufmachaung grandios. Die Story interessant. Das Gameplay nach einer weile relativ öde. Die Perfomance verbesserungswürdig. Insgesamt bleibt dieses Game vermutlich wegen der schönen Optik und des neuen Settings (China) im Kopf. Wegen der Steuerung etc. vermutlich eher nicht. Bin gespannt, ob beim 2. Titel des Entwicklers die Schwächen ausgemerzt werden können.
