Batman Arkham Shadow Meta Quest 3 Resolution: 3072 Via Sideload app FRAME RATE Over 60 most of the time. Time Period: 1 Year After Origins, 3 years before Arkham Asylum. Synop: Take on the Rat Plague and the Day of Wrath, Use Batmans Iconic weapons to defeat evil all from the comfort of your own home. Hear Iconic Alfred help you in your quest at every turn. Performance: Batman Arkham Shadow uses almost the same engine used in Previous batman games, this one is just tailed for use of the Meta headset. You can however upp the resolution into 4K territory via the Sideload app. The game without upping the resolution sits around 90 to 120fps most of the time. With 4K rendering this will tank to 60 to around 38 when it's very demanding. This game looks fantastic without changing **** for users who want the best visual can look no further than the sideload app. Well worth the money, Beat it on Normal and then try harder difficulty for better exercise. Time it took: For me I played it over a week's time 2 hours a day for 7 days. I'm on my 2nd Playthrough and it's taking me double the time due to upping the difficulty. I'd say Story Mode is easily 12 hours

I would give it a 10 but why is it in VR I can’t play this what type of games are you playing because I ain’t playing theses games you did this on purpose because you want YouTubers to do this since there rich and other people are to poor like me to buy a headset and there to expensive and I could buy 49 games than a head set you could have gave it to console but you put it on VR

I’m sorry, but if you give this game less than a 90 you’re either mad because it’s a VR exclusive or you’re mentally ****.

The Arkham gameplay design translates well into VR, offering a fun and immersive experience. The story stands out with an interesting undercover spy story that feels unique. Gadgets and combat feel great in VR. Unfortunately, the game suffers from frequent technical problems, like glitches and crashes, even after updates. While the ending has an intriguing story moment, it feels anticlimactic from a gameplay perspective.

I have played all other Batman Arkham games and was very excited when this VR title was announced. I expected the VR version to be rather simplistic in comparison to the other games, but that really is not the case. It is a bit smaller in scope because it mostly plays in Blackgate prison, but the gameplay is very similar andadapted nicely for VR. Writing is also great and offers a nice little story ark. I was really surprised by the whole package. It would have been a 10 for me, but I had lower the score because I had a lot of technical problems while playing. The game crashed countless times and I also had quite a few bugs where control-inputs like run or crouch suddenly stopped working until a restarted the whole game. First Quest game where this happened to me and it really taints the experience if it happens over and over again. I hope this will get patched out someday....

This was my first true AAA experience with a vr game a couple months back and it immediately got me hooked, the story, gameplay and physics/graphics are superb and really good for a standalone game. The games story isn't bad at all but sometimes the malone segments feel dragged out and makes you skip over exploration just to get it over with. Also the game has its fair share of glitches and performance issues but as of the latest patch it feels more stable than at release. Definitely recommend playing with Quest games optimizer, and overall I'd say it's a must have title on the quest 3

Oh my hecking god! What an awful mechanics they're. I never liked Batman because he's is an overrated character! The game came freely after I bought Quest 3S and I installed it but now I hate both Batman and the game. Mechanics are very dreadful!

Like the game overall, it nails the Batman Arkham vibe that we've come to know and love. Combat is cool and grappling around and throwing batterangs is very satisfying. However it took a long time to get used to the set animations for actions and some gestures didn't register well, like the gliding. Some inconsistencies in how grappling worked sometimes left me dangling awkwardly, this paired with the set animations could be somewhat immersion breaking at times.

Deep lifelong Batman Arkham fan. I've played every single title in the series. Origins is my favorite, not because I don't love all of them, but because I especially like the story in Origins. Like most of you, I was initially devastated when it was revealed what Rocksteady had been making this entire time. Even more so when we realized it was a live service game. When I saw the announcement like most people I had concerns it would be a glorified tech demo. Then I saw the dev team's first public Q&A and they revealed it was a full Arkham title a little longer than the original Arkham Asylum. The director was full of light and love for our beloved franchise. He had creative solutions for how to meaningfully bring gameplay ideas from the flatscreen titles to VR in a way that only VR can play. Now I was excited. Got it on day one, launched a little earlier than planned to all of our surprise, and wow. From the very opening scene, it grabs you. They took some very creative and interesting risks with this title. Not only is a full-fledged Arkham game in VR, it's a damn good one! I don't want to give anything away but you meet so many interesting characters along the way, and see them from different points of view, even Bruce shows a side we've never seen from him before. This will likely be the first VR title of its kind that most people will not only play but finish. It taps into something very special. If you have a Quest 3 it's a total no-brainer, get it. If you are on the fence but are a die-hard Arkham fan, get a Quest 3 with it bundled. Will be extremely curious what the team does next!

A new revolutionary Batman game that makes you feel like Batman in the most awesome way possible, just like what Arkham Asylum did back in 2009. This is a new beginning for the Arkham franchise, and I'm really excited about it.

Batman: Arkham Shadow is a remarkable addition to the world of virtual reality gaming, especially for fans of the Arkham series. The game delivers a thrilling mix of action and puzzles, capturing the essence of what makes the franchise so beloved. While there are minor technical issues, they don't overshadow the overall **** you own a Meta Quest 3, this game is definitely worth checking out. It’s a must-play for anyone who wants to step into the Dark Knight's shoes and experience Gotham like never before.

Definitely one of the best vr games ever made, story, gameplay, mechanics, puzzles are all done very well, however there are many frustrating bugs which should hopefully be patched in the near future but definitely a must play for quest 3/3s users! I also want to talk about the graphics,in general they’re quite great especially for a standalone vr game not the most wonderful vr graphics of course but i did love the character models which were probably the most detailed part of the graphics Camouflaj tried to push the quest 3 to its limits and they definitely succeeded!!

Batman Arkham Shadow is a great entry into the Arkham series. Thanks to the medium of VR it truly stands out as in my opinion the best gameplay wise, with also some really great writing and story. IT MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE BATMAN.

After the miserable excuse of a sequel "Suicide Squad kill the Justic League" was, it's great to return to the Arkham series. The freeflow combat and aesthetic is amazingly well done, if I had one criticism however it's that the game would be so much better if there was a full PC release. There's stutters, it's clearly not rendered anywhere near the headsets native resolution, but regardless of that it's still a good time.

I love this game. Completely brilliant. Manages to thread its design into the lore and shape of the existing Arkham games without feeling beholden to them, somehow ports the combat mechanic into the 3d physical space required to play, keeps the stealth and navigational elements also somehow translated into VR, and despite moving freely, flying, and grappling, I never get motion sick. I've also sunk at least 6-7 hours into it and am only maybe 1/3rd of the way through the story according to my save data. It even has the collectible mechanisms the Arkham games are known for, satisfying side-puzzles, etc.

This game would be perfect if it weren’t for the mobile chip it is cursed to run on. Arkham Shadow is meant for something greater than the Quest 3.

one of the best games in the history of virtual reality. one of the most immersive experiences I have ever had and the best game of 2024 for any console. GOTY. It's a pity that the traditional classic media has no knowledge of virtual reality nor any intention of acquiring it. The criticisms of the users are visible. uno de los mejores juegos de la historia de la realidad virtual. una de las experiencia mas inmersivas qie he vivido nunca y el mejor juego de 2024 para cualquier consola. GOTY. Lastima que los medios clasicos de toda la vida no tengais conocimiento algono de realidad virtual ni intencion de adquirirlos. a la vista estan las criticas de los usuarios.

Best bat project since rocksteadys heyday with the added benefit of actually 'being' there. Should be inducted into the VR hall of fame with Alyx.

WOW! This game blew me away. The graphics, story, voice acting, and, for me, especially the combat are incredible. In my opinion, with this game, we are entering a new era of VR, with it running entirely on standalone.

This is just awesome. For me, this is one of the best action VR **** definitely the best combat in **** atmosphere, sound, voice acting, characters, puzzles, design are all 100% Batman Arkham. It is obvious that the developers played these games very actively and love **** graphics are even gorgeous on the quest, but if it came out on PC, it would be perfect. Definitely the best standalone VR game and a worthy sequel to Batman Arkham Origins. 11/10 My respects to the developers.

Holy crap,I've played alot of games. But I have never played a game which I spend all day imagining myself playing when I am not playing it. The combat is so damn satisfying that I was dreaming about fighting goons when I was sleeping.I woke up because I punched my blanket and was rolling because I was dodging

Visually very impressive, it's another faithful entry in the Batman Arkham Universe. The gameplay is just brilliant. I honestly don't understand why it took so long for VR games to have this sort of gameplay, but well. I hope they are alreday making another VR game, or some DLCs. Must buy-

Not only one of the best VR Games available right now, but also an example of how VR games should be like in the future. It really is a full fledged story-game with beautiful graphics, incredibly fun gameplay and an interesting story, even for someone like me, who doesn't know a lot about Batman in general. Couldn't recommend this experience more.

This is by far the best VR title I have played in a while. I love the Arkham series and also am a VR enthusiast and this game is exactly what VR needs to get more people into VR. The game is done perfectly, and I can't wait to see what is in store for the future!

Absolutely incredible. I've played many VR games and this is hands-down the best one I've ever played. The graphics for a standalone headset are really good and having such a big map to explore is unreal. Gameplay is incredibly fun and well translated from it's flatscreen predecessors. The story as well is very engaging and well implemented into VR. The only thing keeping this from a 10 is the bugs, the developers have stated there will be a patch soon but as it stands there have been a few bugs that have made me have to reload a save and I've had one crash but they aren't a huge deal.

This isn't just one of the best vr games ever, it is one of the best games ever. The immersive nature of vr brings this game to the next level. The combat is excellent and gives you a real workout. For the first time ever you can truly become Batman.

this game is one of the best VR tittles I have ever played! -combat is amazing and will make you sweat! -the visuals are top notch for a game that essentially runs on a cell phone processor. the team pulled of feats I could not imagine for a standalone VR set!

This is a Masterpiece. There are so many layers in there treated with respect and passion. Narrative. Graphics, although we are talking about a standalone device with all its limitations. Soundtrack. Voice acting. Interactivity, Combat and so much more. I believe Arkham Shadow is for the standalone VR segment what Half-Life Alyx was for PC VR. It represents where VR starts its mainstream journey.
