The hardcore simulations experts may not enjoy the usual advantage they have with experience in flying a plane with a realistic model, but they can still enjoy that they are "flying" and doing it with anyone whose company they enjoy.

Attack on Pearl Harbor offers some great 'arcadey' action and some incredibly fun aerial combat that is great in short bursts. However players looking for something in a complicated/involving vein are best to look elsewhere.

amazing game, had a blast when I played it back in the day. The best arcade style combat flight sim out there.

Very arcade game, but fun and with a good story. The setting and graphics are also very good for the time.

Don’t expect the game to have much to do with a true re-enactment of the Pearl Harbor attack and accept the fantasy that this game brings to the foreground. What it does, it does well.

It's a little shy on realism, challenge, and gameplay depth but Attack on Pearl Harbor still delivers an accessible and diversionary ride in some terrific old WWII warbirds. [Oct 2007, p.60]

Since this isn’t aimed toward the flight sim brigade, the control system is a critical make-or-break aspect of Attack on Pearl Harbor.

It's too simple, too short, and becomes boring far too quickly to recommend.

Legendo has managed to take something as interesting as World War II's air battle over the Pacific and turn it into something as repetitive as bouncing a tennis ball against a wall. It offers a lot of missions, sure, but they're all basically the same three repeated ad nauseum or mashed together into one mission to make it seem new.

I gave it a 6 because,I love history, and the story line was great. But the repeating of missions was horrible. I repeated escorts to Tokyo 5 times, before i finished the game.
