My first-ever Assassin's Creed; this is the game that made me fall in love with the Assassin's Creed franchise. I love this remake a lot, love letter to fans. This is a game so beautiful visually; I hope more remakes come.

AC BFR è il gioco definitivo. Migliora l'esperienza del 2013 in tutto e per tutto. È un piacere per gli occhi e per la giocabilità. È adatto sia per i fan di vecchia data che per i neofiti. Non si poteva chiedere di meglio. Brava Ubisoft. Rinasci, ne hai e ne abbiamo bisogno.

Embarrassing remake, with all of the core mechanics of the original game downgraded. Parkour ruined, combat butchered, assassination and stealth awkward. Only thing thats better compared to original are the graphics and that's IT! Just another Ubisoft embarrassment, I will change the rating If they adress and fix these issues.

Das Black Flag-Resync-Projekt ist wirklich gelungen und bringt viele frische Neuerungen mit – sowohl grafisch als auch beim Inhalt. Das überarbeitete Kampfsystem ist eine gelungene Mischung aus dem Konter-System des Originals und der Mechanik der neueren Assassin's Creed-Teile. Persönlich mochte ich das reine Original-System zwar einen Tick lieber, aber die neue Kombination geht absolut in Ordnung und macht **** das Gesamterlebnis allerdings gewaltig trübt: Mikrotransaktionen in einem reinen Einzelspieler-Titel, für den man bereits den Vollpreis gezahlt hat. Das stößt extrem sauer auf. Hier und da gibt es zwar auch ein paar kleinere Bugs, aber die sind zum Glück harmlos und keineswegs gamebreaking.Fazit: Ein richtig cooles Spiel mit tollen Neuerungen. Ich hoffe sehr, dass Ubisoft auf diesem Weg weitermacht, um die Reihe wieder auf alten Glanzkurs zu bringen

I dont know where did you put this high ranking. This game is comedy. I dont know what type of critics you are but brother you are doing bad jobs. My childhood was this game a spent my hard working money too buy remake i was so happy to play my child game better. Exept story everything else is s#it. I have ps5 pro and launch the game i am underwater i dock my ship half of the ocean disapper. Let me tell you something i never write comments on the game EVER but i am soo pissed they remove selling metal for money upgrading ship shops and pvp is **** and controlles WHY did you change controlles they were perfekt for that game. Ubisoft i really tried to defend you but this is the last game I will ever play from you I will never play your games I payed 60e for the biggest dogs#it i have seen. And I was thinking to buy premium version becase of the real game and thank god I made right decision.I dont care watch you release i will never give you money **** deserve downfall like nobody ever yoh are a shame of the beautiful industry and you dont deserve better.(sry for bad english everybody)

Pretty faithful remake **** game. Not liked franchise since unity id say Pros- .Old content and free roam still great .really good story although I wish it was more fleshed out .really enjoyable ship combat .basically no modern day segments (excluding the dark animus stuff) .reworked tailing missions work great Cons- .combat isn’t that bad but not my cup of tea personally .skin store/weird battlepass type thing although easily ignored .could just be me but legendary ships feel tad to difficult even with fully upgraded ship .dark animus stuff (only found two but didn’t like either off them) If I could change one thing in this game it would be no modern day or animus stuff as the story’s just bad for it and ruins immersion for me. In a few years time I’d love to see the same treatment for ac rouge or ac 3 as a think modern touch up would work really well for them games

I played AC Black Flag Remastered because I heard so many positive reviews and... I'm so f*cking disappointed. This game is mid as a pirate game and very bad as an Assassin's Creed game. The stealth gameplay is so poor. It feels like a downgrade compared to AC Shadows. In Black Flag, I never felt like I was playing as an assassin. Instead, I felt like I was just an ordinary ship captain. The best aspect of the game is definitely the ship battles—they're really great. But the rest of the game is just bad or, at best, mid. The combat is also pretty mid. Edward mostly just parries and attacks. As Naoe in Shadows, I could do much more. In my opinion, both the combat and the stealth were far more fun and much smoother in Shadows than in Black Flag.

It's back, Black Flag, the best in the series. But why the low score? A few things. The price. This was a full-price game. If you already own the original, this will feel like a rip-off. The bugs are rampant, and the clipping through objects is very noticeable. The combat changes are welcome but didn't really change much. You can still just perfect parry and execute, very similar to the counter mechanic in the original. You only get 3 or 4 death animations, and after seeing them a few times, they get a bit repetitive. You're also stuck with swords and can't pick up other weapons. If this game cost $20-30 for those who already owned the original, I probably would have increased the rating. But charging full price for essentially a graphics update and some combat mechanic changes is a rip-off, and a slap in the face to consumers. I will not be purchasing another remastered game from Ubisoft ever again.

Never played the original, this game is fantastic! I took a point off because the first hour of the game was me trying to figure out how to stop my character stop auto sprinting, just turns out on console you have to move easy on the joystick. I really thought it was going to be a terrible game just based off the gameplay movement. I gave it a chance, got used to the controls, and man I’m loving this game. I feel like I am Jack Sparrow in a rated RRRRR version of pirates of the Caribbean. Amazing immersive world. I really hope Ubisoft gets back on track with Far Cry and future AC games without relying on remakes.

Black Flag Resynced is an absolute downgrade of a masterpiece

More than a remake, a really great game. I didn't play to the first one but I really enjoyed this one. The open world divided in some linear section like old gen games became original, in all the generic open world Ubisoft game for example, and the exploration was in this case really pleasant

Such a delight to play a classic Assassin`s Creed Game again with brand new graphics. It has been a long time since. When I started the game it was almost like a brand new experience. Also that I was able to just sail into Havanna, Nassau and Kingston was such a nice improvement. Ubisoft kept it pretty much to the original. Ubisoft Singapour did a good job here. I can find nothing to complain about this game, just splendent... Hope we will see more Edward Kenway in an expansion. Also other Assassin`s Classics are higlhy requested...

I loved it because it brought back one of the best Assassin's Creed games ever and included a lot of new things. When I played it, I felt the same way I did when I was younger. The story is awesome, and the characters are amazing. The whole game is a masterpiece. The best pirate experience ever!

It's wild to me that there aren't more reviews criticising how awful the controls/movement are for this game. It arguably plays worse than the original. With the added "bonus" of undesirable microtransactions. Get the original instead. Nothing to see here. This awful purchase now has me rooting for Ubisoft to finally go bankrupt financially, as they have been creatively for a while now.

This is a real pirate game. Having a great time playing it and so fun. The combat is great an you can fight in different ways to take down the enemy. The sailing and sea combat is also fun when you have upgradet your ship.

Ubislop cashgrab, made basically to appeal to nostalgia, but now, with microtransactions and censoring.

such a breath of fresh air in the assassins creed series, shame that after this they'll probably continue to make slop though, this IS assassins creed and it is true to form, the games beautiful, i'm playing on PS5 Pro, the game runs smooth for the most part and wow have i missed the OG Assassins Creed Games, i will take away a point tho because to do this for Edward and not their mascot (Ezio) is a shame.

The best part I have played so far, much better than all RPG versions, it’s time to return to this game concept with a great plot, Kenway’s story is interesting and addictive, much better than all previous parts

It was very cool. They made up for some of the mistakes of the original version and the graphics are very cool. I think this is Ubisoft's first step towards returning to the top.

Tornare a solcare i mari con le navi pirata è stato bello, però tutti gli accessori e abbellimenti più fighi sono a pagamento. Ma basta. Tralasciando la censura, le ragazze che sono tutte cesse e non sò chi pagherebbe per farsi una busta di piscio, è bello vedere come non si sono nemmeno sbattuti per modificare i dialoghi e le diciture, perchè tra fioraie e prostitute c'è una bella differenza. Se il progresswo è fatto di censure, anche se piccole e che non incidono sulla giocabilità, mi chiedo cosa ci indignavamo a fare in passato.

(First time player didn’t play the original) Honestly a 7.5 but I’ll round up since I was able to get through with no issues. The obvious stuff, beautiful looking, water physics are amazing, naval combat is really fun, plenty of exploration. The story is like a C- where it doesn’t focus enough on the assassins, Creed aspect or it doesn’t focus enough on the pirate aspect. It does a middle ground too much and feels awkward and unsatisfied at the end. The demon gloom is a nice touch of reality, but also wish there was a little bit more flow; by the end when he has his kid on the boat, I was like where the hell did this kid come from? Parkour, annoying sometimes because he would stop in the flow would just be so guttered, but on the other time, it was be nice still. Combat had issues were targeting would always Target the distant person, and that would really be annoying during large combat scenes Lots of immersion breaking things, like when you’re fighting multiple ships and one stops to wait for you to take over another ship is just kind of weird, and how he takes his hood off during every scene. I was most annoyed by that fact and feature, even though it was so tiny, it was yet another crumb of mediocrity that this game kinda offered (easy option of just put the hood back up when out of cutting scenes, sure it’s one button, but I hate doing it every single time)

Lo de los lamebotas de Ubisoft dandole 100 que es??? el juego no esta pulido el combate esta empeorado, con animaciones dignas de un juego de ps2, por no decir lo que le han hecho al parkour saltos falsos, que no van donde quieres, Unity un juego de 2014 destroza a un juego de 2026 en cuanto a jugabilidad, Lo unico que mejoraron fueron los graficos y las batallas navales lo demas esta empeorado y muy abajo del original.

Je suis vraiment déçu par Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. J’attendais beaucoup de ce remake, mais après plusieurs heures de jeu, je lui mettrais à peine la **** principal problème est son niveau de finition. Les bugs sont extrêmement nombreux : bateaux qui volent, animaux qui lévitent ou apparaissent au mauvais endroit, problèmes avec le harpon et les cordages, bugs pendant les cinématiques, changement jour/nuit qui ne fonctionne parfois pas, et certaines interactions qui deviennent presque injouables. Au début, certains bugs peuvent faire rire, mais lorsqu’ils s’accumulent et touchent directement le gameplay, ça devient franchement **** parkour est probablement ce qui me déçoit le plus. Dans un Assassin’s Creed, le déplacement est essentiel, pourtant Edward ne semble pas toujours comprendre où je veux aller. Il peut sauter dans le vide alors qu’un point d’accroche évident se trouve devant lui, ou choisir une trajectoire complètement absurde. Pour un jeu basé sur l’exploration, l’escalade et la fuite, c’est très **** suppression de la minimap me pose également problème. Je comprends l’idée de vouloir alléger le HUD, mais dans un jeu d’infiltration et d’exploration, ne plus avoir de minimap permettant notamment de repérer les zones interdites rend certaines situations inutilement confuses. Je peux entrer dans une zone hostile sans même m’en rendre compte. Et pour certains collectibles comme les coffres, je dois constamment ouvrir la carte du monde pour savoir où chercher.Même cette carte du monde a ses propres limitations : certains espaces, comme la cabine du Jackdaw, empêchent de l’ouvrir alors que je suis toujours physiquement sur mon navire. Cela donne l’impression que certains espaces intérieurs sont gérés séparément du monde extérieur sans que l’interface ne sache correctement conserver la position du **** sais que refaire un jeu avec un nouveau moteur demande énormément de travail, et je ne prétends pas que le développement d’un remake soit facile. Mais une grande partie de l’histoire, de la carte et du contenu de Black Flag existait déjà. J’attendais donc que cette nouvelle version profite de cette base pour corriger en profondeur les problèmes de gameplay et améliorer les systèmes fondamentaux. Au lieu de cela, j’ai souvent l’impression que le jeu n’est pas suffisamment **** c’est particulièrement décevant à 60 €. Je ne demande pas un jeu sans aucun bug, mais j’attends au minimum qu’un remake vendu à ce prix soit solide sur ses mécaniques essentielles.Black Flag reste un excellent jeu à mes yeux, mais pour l’instant, Resynced me donne surtout l’impression d’une occasion manquée. Je suis venu retrouver un classique modernisé et amélioré, et je me retrouve trop souvent à lutter contre le jeu plutôt qu’à en profiter.Note personnelle : 5/10.

Black Flag resynced is undoubtedly one of the greatest games to come out in 2026 while also being the best way to play Assassins Creed 4. My only complaint is that enemies can sometimes break you out of your takedown chain during combat when there should be invincibility frames.

Pros - Abstergo sections removed - great characters and voice acting - upgrading the jackdaw and naval combat - Graphics - Outfits Cons - Parkour is terrible. Edward constantly doesnt do what you want him to. There’s one section at the end of the game that really demonstrated just how bad it is. For a game based around parkour this is a HUGE con. - Combat is mediocre -Harpooning is atrocious, with perfect shots not registering and an incredibly hard to aim harpoon. What could make it better besides fixing the cons? - Helmsman, i would like the option to walk around my ship while it’s sailing and to get a sense of scale of it…crew does not feel alive, they just stand in place instead of pulling ropes and looking like a real crew.

The game is very buggy. I barely played 3 hours and I'm still doing the boring mandatory tutorial missions and I encountered the some issues. The game crashed to desktop after meeting with Torres, after boarding a ship Adéwalé kept shooting an invisible gun until I reached Dry Tortuga, the character jumped off the mast several times while I was trying to climb to cut the flag of a ship.

I encountered several bugs during my gameplay that even caused me to lose my save file. Furthermore, the battles against the legendary ships are very unbalanced.

Realmente. é uma grande evolução comparado original. Para fazerem outra experiência pirata. Como essa vai demorar muito tempo e anos. Por quê hoje em dia é difícil fazer jogos que tenha esse tipo de experiência e imersão em jogos de pirata hoje em dia é muito raro eu quero saber qual vai ser o próximo jogo que vai revolucionar como esse revolucionou. Just another rip-off from Ubisoft: 60 euros for a game that is nowhere near being a remake. It’s just an unpolished graphical touch-up with two or three minor gameplay tweaks that lack substance or depth, a completely outdated game. Even though *Shadows* is a boring game, it feels far superior in terms of basic mechanics like combat, parkour, and physics. *Black Flag Resynced* is simply awful.

the game is great in graphics, stealth, parkour, clothes mechanics and naval combat. But the game could’ve been better in combat if they added blade combat, it just feels odd that when you takedown a enemy with the sword you do it with blades it’s like if I do a finisher with a axe the character proceeds to do it with daggers or swords example wise, if they do add the blade combat which they have to they have to separate finishers, they also have to add unarmed combat outside of barn brawls, that would make it a way better experience in combat that it already is the combat it’s great I’ll risk to say best in the franchise I know many people like the older games combat like ac 2, ac 3, black flag og and so on but I really think this combat they added is the good course because the mobility is way better than in older games like the ones I mentioned I simply believe that while the older ones combat looks good it does not feel good or free, so black flag resynced really needs to add the hidden blade combat, unarmed combat, and make that when you kill an guard when your just doing slashes that when you kill that it just falls off with some animation make it kind of when the health bar goes down it makes a short finisher, I know this is in game already when you kill them with charge attacks but not as frequent, but other than that I love how the game offers a variety of combat combinations just like the rope dart, front kicks, kicks to the legs to make take downs love the direction the franchise is going thank Ubisoft for not giving the fandom the rpg combat, I just hope Ubisoft does not go back to rpg game styles because like you don’t need to do an rpg to satisfy new fandom players just give them what we received in revelations, brotherhood, AC 1, and AC 3 give us something like that again I’m not just saying remakes but something new that really brings us back to those feelings when we played the OG games and with black flag resynced Ubisoft has prove that they can still deliver this type of feeling that Made us fell like assassins while odyssey, Valhalla, shadows are good games they are not assassins creeds to me they don’t feel like it, I just hope Ubisoft can bring assassins creed back to its golden era.

Sou da era mais moderna de Assassin's, Valhalla, Odyssey, Origins e etc, sem sombra de dúvidas pra mim foi o melhor que eu joguei, gostei demais do combate, rápido, fluído, sem exagero em habilidades e armas, tudo muito bem construído, história impecável, mundo belíssimo junto com uma exploração fácil.

This “version” of the game has better graphics (apart from the reflections on performance mode are horrible) but that is the only thing that is better than the original, I would still prefer to play the original that I still give a 9.5 out of 10. Removed FeaturesFull list: Mission ReplaysOriginal DLC missions and items Abstergo Entertainment offices sections City introduction videos (when first finding a new city) Kenway's Fleet Mini game You might argue the fleet mini game still exists but it has been reworked and isn’t really a actual mini game anymore, also the rewards are completely worthless. This was the most disappointing thing removed for me as I loved this mini game and would play it for hours. Many other things have also been changed for the worse, for example the forts you conquer used to do damage to passing ships, capturing very strong forts used to be a great place to farm stronger ships, now they do the minimum of damage possible and are of no help if you are overpowered. Many things have been nerfed like this making the game feel less fun. Buggy Gameplay The gameplay is very buggy, climbing is much, much worse than the original, most of the time you can’t even climb upwards and keep climbing form side to side or in random directions for no reason. At other times you will just fall instead of climbing. Sometimes you will just float in the air and then fall to the ground. I have many PS5 clips of glitches and bugs, assassination sometimes makes you fly upwards or down through the floor, sometimes the enemy dies then gets up again or just doesn’t die or freezes in place. One poor guy got stretched out into some weird deformed thing like Mr Fantastic having a seizure. There are many more bugs than I can name here, the harpooning is completely ruined and some one star missions are harder than three star ones due to being broken and buggy. Berserk darts don’t always kill the guard and they are massively nerfed, the berserk guard will never kill anyone and does barely any damage, rendering berserk darts **** list goes on and on, the known bugs are in the 100s. ___________________________________________________________________________ Black Bart's Gambit: In this mission you need to steal a flag, in the original this took about 30 seconds, you swim under the boat and climb the rigging whilst the guards are distracted by your friend. In resynced this took about half an hour, about 16 of my attempts the guards just wouldn’t turn around and kept detecting me, on a few they were facing away but still spotted me somehow, on one attempt I was climbing the rigging and Edward tried to randomly jump to something that didn’t exist and floated in the air for a second before dropping to the deck in front of everyone. As of writing I am 85-90% done with the game, but I thought I would write the review now before it ran out of points and I had to give it 0/10.

Let's go up on deck, Captain Kenway needs us; we're going to sink a couple of Spanish ships, sing some good old sea shanties, and sail the crystal-clear seas surrounding Nassau. Le jeu vidéo Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced est un remake totalement exceptionnel, reconstruisant fidèlement l'aventure d'Edward Kenway avec les technologies modernes du moteur Anvil. Cette version entièrement recréée transcende l'œuvre originale de 2013 grâce à des graphismes somptueux en ray tracing, une météo dynamique saisissante et des combats navals largement optimisés. Ce titre s'impose comme le remake ultime pour tous les passionnés de piraterie.

For the most part, given its price tag, I would avoid, combat is poor, unresponsive, parkour is all over the place, the graphics are great but the rest of the game fails to deliver anything more than the free ps4 version on PS Plus.

They post a code to redeem as a thanks for buying the game, with no listed expiration date. Less than 10 days later I go to redeem and it is no longer valid... not to mention heavily adding microtransactions to an upscale existing game that they are already charging $60 for is reprehensible. This studio needs to go out of business...

30 fps cutscenes in EVERY CONSOLE on EVERY MODE is completely unacceptable and literally ruins the game (I stopped playing after the tutorial because of it). FOV is horrible (way too close), no Freedom Cry DLC (+$85 of Ubislop cosmetics at release) and litany of bugs (I got stuck inside a tree in the tutorial area). Not worth $60. $40 at release and $20 on sale.

I like how you can upgrade your ship and yourself buy hunting or steal loot from different ships my only downgrade is that when I tried to find the Capuchin monkey but on its database its says you can find it on Matanzas so I spent 40 minutes trying to find it but never did cause its not there but I feel like thats a bit my fault for not looking on the world map but luckily I did and I googled where you could find the monkey so now I know

Un remake increíble y fiel del mejor juego de piratas jamas creado. La historia de Kenway y la representación de la edad de oro de la piratería son una maravilla. Aparte el combate tanto naval como con las espadas son una mejora respecto al original, siendo frenético y más clásico alejándose de los RPG. La banda sonora es una locura, te hace sentir un pirata. Las nuevas misiones añadidas están bastante bien, con alguna cinemática realmente emotiva, aunque con falta de motion capture que las hace peores con respeto a las demás del juego, que se ven de locos. Por último, tanto el sigilo como el parkour son una maravilla con todas las mejoras de Shadows. Realmente un remake maravilloso, gracias Ubisoft
