Architect Life: A House Design Simulator doesn't dig too deep but there is some challenge to be had from clients and their prospective locations. The career mode has some variety to it, although the homes I built started to homogenise due to the surprisingly limiting tools at my disposal. For a game with architect in the title, you're not given the freedom to truly tinker with angles and materials. It's still a methodical and relaxed time but it pulls some punches.

Have you ever watched a home makeover show and thought, “I could do better than that”? Well, Architect Life: A House Design Simulator hands you the blueprint, the paintbrush, and the furniture catalog to prove it. Whether you’re rearranging cozy apartments or designing sprawling modern homes, this simulator provides a surprisingly enjoyable blend of creativity and calm.

Architect Life is a nice little design-your-own-house game, which is definitely not a hard core simulator, but should offer a modicum of fun for those on the highest rung of Maslow's ladder. There is little challenge, and some minor bugs and other annoyances, but at least this is an acceptable entry in a genre that is not too crowded.

Edit. NO me deja poner columnas, tampoco ventanas. Le bajo la puntuación de 5 a 3 Este juego necesita una revisión profunda de contenido (gratuito), de control y revisar por qué el juego no te deja poner poner muros, ya sea encima de otros muros o habiendo puesto pilares

Generally dreadful, and not at a low-cost price. For a design simulator there is so very little design to, well, design, It is incredibly difficult for the game to understand what an open-plan living arrangement is like and the game will not let you complete any build if it does not understand it. The 'campaign' builds are tiny and very limiting. The overall choice of pallets, furniture and options is also limited. You are left making a somewhat 'rote' decision on designs you simply do not like simply to tick a box. At half the price it might be an interesting delve into very basic, very limited architecture design - as it currently stands it is over priced and under delivered. Not worth the time, money or effort.

Move over, Kevin McCloud: there's a new architect in town, and it's me. Architect Life is a great deal of fun for anyone who likes to get creative with designing houses. Career mode provides structure while free play lets you go wild with your ideas, and whichever mode you opt for, it's bolstered by intuitive controls and easy-to-learn mechanics.

Architect Life is a well made and intensely detailed look at the world of house design, and those brought up on The Sims will feel that creativity pouring through the screen. Just be prepared to pay extra if you feel like you're missing a cinema.

Architect Life: A House Design Simulator works — and that’s the long and short of it. There is no secret behind these four walls: it is simply a house-building simulator that, despite probably running better than leviathan The Sims 4 in certain computers, doesn’t present a lot of variety beyond that. It is worth it for those looking for a relaxing title, but consider comparing it to other options in the market.
