Animal Force is fun when it wants to be, but equally as frustrating. If you can get past that and focus on the sheer chaos of tower defense in a virtual space, then Animal Force may have something to offer.

While Animal Force makes a valiant effort to bring some changes to the tower defence genre, and take advantage of VR, and it only manages to clear the its okay bar. It has some nice touches, and an appealing art style, but it also has very linear, repetitive gameplay, a steep difficulty curve and some very bizarre gameplay decisions that prevent it from being as good as it could have been.

Don't bother with the full version on PS4. The buttons X & O are backwards. The demo version doesn't have this issue only the full version untill they fix it (which they most likely won't) do not buy it in warning you now. Having those buttons backwards is a huge flaw in the game, and makes it unplayable.

Animal Force is a simple VR tower defence, suitable for those who want to approach this genre for the first time, but its party games can give everyone a lot of fun.
