Angry Birds Star Wars

Angry Birds and Angry Birds Space may be great on their own, but combine the two and you get Angry Birds Star Wars, a great tie-in that learns from the mistakes of the past to make something wonderful.

It brings back all the elements that made the previous episodes as great as they are, wrapped up by Star Wars. It's still as fun as always, and really recommended if you're a fan of any of the series.

As an Angry Birds game, it's great. As a Star Wars tie-in, it's great. Overall, Angry Birds Star Wars is everything you were hoping for, and it handily proves skeptics wrong.

I've played through all of the Angry Birds games, and had the most fun with this Star Wars-themed version. And that's not just because it's Star Wars. This game shows Rovio is at the top of its game, using a beloved license to deliver the series' most creative levels to date.

A respectable sequel, one that both incorporates the fiction of the brand, but also improves on previous games, progressing the franchise.

An odd couple crossover that is not only a loving homage to Star Wars but, more importantly, the best Angry Birds game so far.

My Review – Angry Birds Star Wars – 10/10 I gave Angry Birds Star Wars a 10 out of 10 because it perfectly combines the fun, addictive gameplay of Angry Birds with the iconic Star Wars universe. The levels are creative, the physics are satisfying, and the characters and powers make each stage feel fresh and exciting. The humor, references, and charm of the Star Wars theme add a lot of personality, and it’s easy to get hooked trying to beat every level. It’s simple to play but always entertaining, making it a standout in both the Angry Birds and Star Wars worlds. This is why Angry Birds Star Wars is a 10/10.

Star Wars does a lot to make the Angry Birds formula more enjoyable. The new powers are enjoyable and genuinely helpful. However it's more than just the theme that makes the game fun. Even if it didn't have the Star Wars skin it would have still been worth playing thanks to the tightened physics. The thing that really made me dislike the first angry birds were the loose mechanics. You're bird's powers really didn't mean much in the face of the stiff physics and lackluster design. However Rovio uses Star Wars to help fix those issues. The result is a much more balanced and enjoyable experience. It's a pretty simple physics-based puzzler. One perfect for on the go gaming thanks to it's pick up and play nature. It's a title that can appeal to any age range of gamer and any skill level. Hardcore or casual, young or old, This Star Wars themed Angry Birds game has the potential to appeal to you. Just don't expect much of a challenge. It's not the type of game that's going to rack your brain as you search for the solution. Some times shear dumb luck with no strategy at all can get you through it. Given that the goal it just to tear stuff down anyway it's entirely possible to just brute force your way through things. The game offers plenty of power ups to help you out when you do get stuck for a bit. It's lack of depth and desire to appeal to everyone keep it from reaching true puzzle gaming greatness, but does every game really need to? Angry Birds Star Wars is fun. A game worth checking out for fans of either series or just mobile gamers looking for an entertaining experience on the go. To top things off you can even get it free-to-play making all the more worthwhile. It's not the deepest experience out there, but it's still a solid game. That makes it worth a look in my opinion.
