Like its predecessor, it does an excellent job of staying faithful to the Star Wars universe, right down to the sound effects. Even the way the much-maligned Jar Jar Binks feels like a wry nod to fellow fans.

If you're still even vaguely interested in Angry Birds games, you need Angry Birds Star Wars II. Hell, even if you haven't played an Angry Birds game in a while, it's still worth checking out, as firing off evil Boba Fett pigs at unsuspecting birds is just as much fun as you'd expect.

Even with Telepods and needing to pay to unlock content, Angry Birds Star Wars 2 is another top-notch game from Rovio.

If you enjoyed the first episode, this one will give you just exactly what you wanted. More and better Angry Birds Star Wars.

Angry Birds Star Wars II’s increased emphasis on power-ups and toy sales don’t ruin the appeal or fun of the more than 100 levels included at launch, even if it does feel a little gross.

Everybody knows that the prequel episodes of Star Wars are diarrhea, but Rovio's vision isn't bird poop. The game let's you play as the imperial pigs or the birds of the old republic and the level design is puzzle-based. Bird Wars works like a charm! [Nov 2013]

Though it sticks very close to the established formula, Angry Birds Star Wars II offers just enough tweaks and additions to warrant another trip to that galaxy far, far away.

If you absolutely hate the IP, the concept, and the sound of them yelling as they fly through the air, this won't do much to change your mind, even if the Star Wars factor will help ease in Jedi junkies a bit. But if you don't mind spending a few minutes a day just having some silly fun, Angry Birds Star Wars II delivers once again.
