Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the production value here, and at times it offers an atmospheric and visually appealing experience, but unfortunately, the gaming experience itself suffers over time, partly due to a lack of detail that detracts from the overall impression.
Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition then is deeply flawed and arguably struggles to trace a satisfying gameplay loop over the lines of its source material. However, it gets enough right with the atmosphere and general presentation that it ends up being one of the best 6/10 games I’ve played in a good while. Though that might be damning with faint praise and certainly far from a perfect organism, I still feel Alien: Rogue Incursion Evolved Edition is worth checking out for Aliens fans all the same.
Survios successfully expands the Alien universe with a tense first-person horror experience featuring a strong lead and excellent atmosphere, though repetitive combat, weak animations, and minor translation issues prevent it from reaching greatness.

Very good alien game. Good graphics and ran absolutely smoothly and bug-free on the PS5. I'm already looking forward to the second part.

A good Alien game. Not great but very solid one. It’s weakness is that is it a very straightforward and simple game, with very little creativity. But what it does it does well. Recommended for Aliens die hard fans.

Absolutely disgusting they can release a game that has so many bugs on the ps5. The game at the very beginning gives a user error that makes the game unpleasant. This goes away and the game is played it was worrying however. A little further in the game and this bug keeps showing up, to the point where you can not proceed further without some struggle and hacking which shouldn’tneed to be done for a consumer game. It’s unfinished and buggy and I will never buy a game from this company ever again. It had potential but to release it unfinished is a morpnic decision which ultimately makes me never to buy his crap again

For me, Rogue Incursion is everything I’ve been waiting for in an Alien game. It’s a tense, scary, atmospheric game with a strong story. It balances combat with survival horror, and it’s got its own new storyline that’s nestled deep within the Alien universe. I’ve seen the game described as a “cinematic experience,” and I have to agree. All the pieces work perfectly, making it feel like you’re playing through a brand new Alien movie.

Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition is fun while it lasts. Over the course of its 5-7 hour campaign, The Xenomorphs are clearly the stars of the show in this lovingly crafted horror shooter that makes Colonial Marines look like utter garbage. Though I have a feeling it may be better experienced in VR, this new 2D version is still a great way to play one of the best Alien games since Isolation.

This game truly nails the aesthetic and atmosphere of the movies. While technically not on par with more modern graphics, I still think the visuals look good and do a great job of bringing this world to life. Enjoyed the gameplay as well and was suprised at how tough it can be on a higher difficulty, but felt like it added the right amount of tension and panic in certain scenarios. And those Xenos are relentless! They can swipe you in about two hits on Expert. They also tend to sneak up on you and I got jumped a few times during the game. They are quite terrifying to encounter, especially when they hunt you in packs! All-in-all I had a blast. The game is a must-play for Alien fans and worth a look for anyone that enjoys FPS horror with some action.

It’s unusual to see a game make the jump from VR to flat screen and not vice verca, but Alien: Rogue Incursion proves that something is inevitably lost in the transition. Still, it remains a faithful adaptation of the beloved horror franchise, albeit a bit short, with some gameplay elements that don’t translate as well outside of VR.

Alien: Rogue Incursion nails the atmosphere, spectacle, and sense of place, but struggles to maintain the essential threat level.

This flat-screen version of Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One isn't as tense as its VR counterpart, and its gameplay isn't as exciting as a result, but it remains a solid experience for Alien fans. Just be prepared to backtrack a lot in the latter half and perhaps be disappointed by its unsatisfactory ending.

This new Aliens game isn’t bad it’s actually pretty good and it has some nods to Alien isolation that I definitely like but in this game you are fully equipped to kill Aliens and while I do like that aspect I still prefer Alien isolation true survival horror take on the franchise. Alien isolation is the King of survival horror and the most scary game ever created & one of the best stories in gaming

Alien: Rogue Incursion tries to capture the franchise’s iconic horror, but falls short in execution. It lacks tension, and the pacing suffers from repetitive mechanics and an unsatisfying ending. While the atmosphere is well crafted, the game fails to deliver a cohesive and memorable experience.
