8DAYS

There's only one question you should ask yourself: do you give up easily in games? If your answer is yes, steer clear of 8DAYS. But if you have a masochist bone somewhere in your body, then enroll in G.O.D by all means and face the challenge. There's nothing quite like that sweet feeling when you overcome the dangers the game throws at you, especially when you have a co-op partner to share joys and hardships with.

8DAYS isn’t accessible and that might be its biggest problem.

In 8DAYS, death is looking at you in every corner. You are a prisoner of war and you will have to escape your abductor from the torture room in which you were incarcerated. The game has a much higher difficulty than usual so the challenge is served. The isometric action closely compared with 'Hotline Miami' is what awaits you in this game in which you will not stop dying over and over again throughout the adventure.

A local two player run isn’t going to save 8DAYS from the mid table mediocrity that it’ll find itself in for the vast majority of gamers. If it wasn’t so damn annoying and completely irritating, then I’d happily be gifting it a bigger, better score, but the truth of the matter is that many will find too much they dislike for it to ever be a fun little title...And that’s a shame, because it could well have been pretty damn neat.

The brightest spot in the whole game is Lola's flaming pink hair.
