While the show has its flaws, the six episodes of “Fightland” available for review were a promising introduction to the dark underbelly of London’s criminal underworld. Bolstered by engaging lead performances, gripping action and nervy cliffhangers, it’s a worthy addition to Britain’s thriving crime drama landscape and has all the ingredients to become the genre’s next binge-worthy hit.

Overall, it feels as though less is more as it found its perfect niche in the opening episodes before changing course. Nevertheless, the first season was promising and has the potential to capture the imagination of horror-loving audiences and there could be potential for future stories to be told on Widow’s Bay.

Beyond the cultural impact, “Chief of War” is also a bloody entertaining TV show that boasts incredible performances from its cast.

“Do we need to see this?” Well, yes and no. In theory, “WWE: Unreal” is a promising concept as the audience gets unprecedented access into the writers’ room during one of the most exciting times in wrestling history. However, this only works if there’s real drama, jeopardy or suspense, but instead, it felt too polished and edited.

“Mobland” feels like a combination of “Top Boy” and “The Gentlemen.” It has the tone, pacing and plot similarities of the former but also the middle-class crime family vibes of the latter, with the webs of deceit and deep-rooted corruption.
