The biggest world ever, with really cool mechanics, astonishing graphics and... totally lack of story. After 30hrs of playing I was like - what tha f..k Im doing here and what for... It makes no sense with the wooden characters. Become boring quickly, maybe Im just to old but prefer to play games with strong storyline.

Magic, beautiful, terryfying, scarry, lots of emotions and superb characters, very good DLC to superb game. I've finished both this year for the first time.

CDP knows how to create avesome and astonishing story, thats why this game is worth playing. However - I've finished the game couple of years after release, 07.2026, failed with previous attempt and now, with the new budget PC - I've bouhgt the Phantom Liberty and it was it. Magic, beautiful, terryfying, scarry, lots of emotions and superb characters.

The most engaging game I've ever played, superb storyline and the characters creation, also, big world, very good graphics even in 2026, must have!

It's a pretty good game; you just had to wait for a Steam sale because it definitely wasn't worth the full price. During that time, they also improved the most important things through updates. The three main eras and the ability to change civilizations mid-game are a welcome change, and personally, I don't mind. I find some of the reviews unfair; it's a really good game, and I've played all the previous parts, especially V and VI. I still consider V the most addictive.

I've created the Metacritic account especially to write this short review. Im quite old and started gaming something like 30+ years ago, so let say I've watched the process of bad changes to cRPG games during the years. This one is brought back the best memories I've had and its worth every penny & time I spent on. The story line, tactical fight, characters, the world is a masterpiece with beautiful graphis. Its not easy and requires some knowledge from the player, however, its rewarding. Im not giving it 10/10 as it has some issues due to isometric view, sometimes its difficult to navigate trough.
