Amazing visuals combined with story narration really captures the feeling of a storybook. It's an odd entry for a series like Bayonetta but it works well and the gameplay is much more fun and in-depth than expected. Cereza is also extremely adorable, with a basic skill tree system and costumes. Game is longer on first playthrough than the main games.

Awkward controls, animation, NPC models, and bad multiplayer. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone who is not a fan of the original series. The game is decent but nothing special. With some extra tuning this game could have been good

Probably Platinum's worst major game, particularly gameplay-wise. It has very simple, watered down Bayonetta combat with poor RPG aspects implemented into the game. Infinite dodging, an empty world, awful hacking segments, having to play through the game multiple times, a generic story, poor enemy variety. The music and ending are great but the rest is subpar and a real disappointment. For me, Astral Chain does everything this game does better barring character writing and is a real step up for director Taura. Automata is a decent game, especially if you're a casual generally not into Platinum's typical action games, but if you're more into weaving complex combos and getting highscores such as in Bayo or DMC this game might be a bit disappointing.

Great port, great game. I'm not a big DMC fan so I was skeptical before playing this but it really clicked with me as I found the combat, characters and camera to be better and more enjoyable. Bayo has quite a few unlockable combos and weapons and that's when it starts to really pick up. Just a really good, cheesy game.

Pretty fun shooter to just pop in and play for an hour or so. Fairly cheap, too. Good if you're looking for something slightly more tactical than CoD or just a Vietnam game

Great game with really unique combat. Starts off slow but picks up around chapter 3 once you start getting more legions. Not as complex as bayonetta but not nearly as simple as nier automata. Graphics are pretty good too considering the hardware. Beware review bombing console and DMC fanboys. The only major complaint I have is certain controls can be tricky.

The pinnacle of it's genre that will probably only be surpassed by bayonetta 3. better graphics, weapons, better haircut, and more color than the first game and the music is just as good. only drawback is that it's easier.

Still arguably the best game ever. The only problem is the framerate, but that is forgivable. It's still got a great soundtrack, fun gameplay, and perhaps the best dungeons in a Zelda game

Great spiritual successor to DMC. Some minor flaws like insta-death QTEs but overall fantastic. Just a fun cheesy game with collectibles, costumes and weapons.

Fantastic RPG. It's unfortunate more RPGs like this aren't made anymore. Games like Skyrim excel only in their open world aspects. Their RPG aspects are few compared to games like this and Deus Ex. Just don't forget to patch it

A good game but a bad Zelda game. Zelda is held to higher standards than other franchises and this is just a step backwards. The variety in enemies is low, the combat is boring and consists of waggling your wiimote for most enemies, the dungeons are short and easy, it's extremely linear, and there is too much back tracking.

An amazing game elevated due to it's custom map/modding scene. The online might be dominated by bots and rather empty by now, but it is still fun to play through LAN.

The only drawback to this game is the voice acting, but that isn't too important. Everything else about the game is unique and refreshing and enjoyable.

Really good game, only drawback is the DRM required to play it. Combat can also get boring unless you do combos. Haven't encountered any glitches, personally.
