If I could give this film an 11 I would. Having loved the book I was concerned to hear that Glazier had altered the film narrative. But only a few frames in and I already could tell it was going to be incredible. A film that relies mostly on the emotional response from the audience to tell the story, many filmgoers won't connect having been so used to the overly absurdist films of today. But this film is a classic. Fantastic

Wow! Absolutely incredible filmmaking here. The film perfectly captures the narcissism and obsession that comes with a career in the creative arts. The cinematography was perfection. And every actor and actress in the picture was at the top of their game. This film will be remembered for decades. Bravo!

It was just fine. The movie was a bit clunky and the casting was terrible. Alec Baldwin had no business being cast in this film other than to ensure a high profile name for a big release. Julianne Moore is exquisite and truly should have won the oscar. But the emotional beats felt somewhat interrupted, almost jumpy and lost. The tone of the film could have been more cohesive.. All in all it was fine. Nothing great here.
