I thought the game was well designed and fluid for what it is. You get nothing when you start, no instructions, no direction, nothing. But that was the whole point.. for you to figure your way out of the 'darkmess'. Level design was a 9/10 easy. Overall game gets an 8/10 from me. It's good but only good for what it is. A very simplistic game with complex level design.

One of the better indie titles. Really enjoyed it sitting back using a gamepad, Ever so slightly reminded me of Battle Toads! Easy to get into, fun to play, I loved the soundtrack and scores, they are what really drew me into this game. When the battles got intense and that music fired up... mmm I love it! Good upgrade paths and choice of weapons. They have passive trinkets too! I love passives! Controls were smooth and fluid, I enjoyed the narration even though it was constant it was pulled off really well. Story was slightly confusing until the end. Story-wise it depends on your taste, but I found it to be slightly random-cliche.. but still had just enough depth to keep me interested. I'd recommend this title for the price. Cheers

Titan Quest: Immortal Throne10

TQIT is one of my absolute favourite games! All I have are memories of countless ours of good ol' fashin fun, I mixed fire and earth together for one helluva smashing combo... sent enemies flying everywhere! Never got old, I just couldn't help hunting down better and more rare items as I tore through my enemies. TQIT brings an additional act and mastery. The new act is totally worth it, really atmospheric and draws you deeper into the mythical universe. It's better than D3, trust me!

Alan Wake's American Nightmare4

Started playing American Nightmare directly after the original. It's crap. I give it points for better graphics and controls. Otherwise it's NOTHING like the original, it's totally hollow. Give this one a skip.

Alan Wake9

It's Q2 2014, and there's almost nothing good out at the moment that I haven't played. So I looked through my steam library and noticed that I had Alan Wake that I purchased a long time ago from one of the Steam specials but never got around to playing it. I would just like to say that I am pleasantly surprised at how absorbed I became. I was honestly struggling to get hooked on any game until I started Alan Wake. I really wanted to find out how the story played out and that's what kept me going strong throughout. I absolutely loved the deliciously dark setting in the mountains and the unique torch-as-a-weapon/shield kit out. I can't say enough good things about this- a truly refreshing experience compared to all the stuff I've been playing lately! I highly recommend this title if you're looking for something different and yet undeniably absorbing. I also thought the visuals and audio were superb for a 2012 title and did their job very well in transporting me deep into the heart of the story.

I honestly don't know what the problem is with all these negative reviews. I've played ME1, ME2 and ME3 back-to-back (on PC) and let me tell you, ME3 is my favourite alongside ME2. The controls are smooth, the dialogue has all the depth I've come to love and all of my choices from previous MEs carried through 100%. I think the visuals and audio are truly epic and what I came to expect from a 2012 game. A big thumbs up from me. These user scores of 1 and 0 etc are obviously false or fabricated. It's unthinkable that someone could give this game such a low score.
